If you've been around a paddle sports shop before, you know the story, kayak hardware and accessories get tucked away in a corner just taking up space - thrown in buckets with no packaging or barcode. At Sea-Lect Designs, our goal is simple; to bring all those hard to find hardware and repair accessories out of the back room, storage closet, and tackle box behind the counter and make them easy to find! Made in Everett, WA with the injection molding capacity of our sister company Sea-Lect Plastics, most of our plastic products are made in the United States where we control all phases of manufacturing to ensure consistent quality. As an independent manufacturer of components, we're able to concentrate solely on the hardware every paddler needs. As a supplier for boat builders and manufacturers from coast-to-coast, we guarantee you've seen our products on a boat in your neighborhood. All kits include hardware items, fasteners, and installation instructions that simplify what retailers must stock in order to meet their customer’s needs. Choosing your Fastener Since not all projects are the same we have included two styles of fasteners to insure that you can complete the project whether you have access to the backside of the mounting surface or not.

Easy to Read Instructions Illustrated installation instructions provide easy to follow steps so you spend less time with a screwdriver and more time with a paddle.

Why Well Nuts? At Sea-Lect Designs, we have chosen to use well nuts over pop-rivets in almost every case. We encourage you to use nuts and bolts whenever the backside of the mounting surface is accessible. For those times when you can't reach the backside, we've included well nuts as an alternative. Here is why we've chosen well nuts instead of pop-rivets for those hard-to-reach installs: Usability Requires common household tools as opposed to special pop-rivet gun. Strength Better holding strength than pop-rivets. Water Tightness Well nut seal is water-tight, whereas pop-rivet seal is not.
