AERO SUP BOARDS

OUR PRE-LAMINATED HEAT BONDED TECHNOLOGY We engineered our Aero range with a high density of nylon threads on the inside, fused to a solid PVC-coated base cloth by pre-laminated heat bonded technology. This technology holds the laminated drop stitch within the second layer. This process is heat controlled and performed by machine therefore removing any possible human error. As we had no interest in producing single layer boards, we took a layer of drop stitch reinforcement to protect the base cloth and a second drop stitch reinforcement layer to strengthen the board to its max. On top of these layers, we use a PVC-coat nylon base to guarantee our Aeroâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s durability. All layers are well-connected due to thermos-assembled methods performed by high-tech machines under controlled conditions, saving almost 2kg in weight compared to traditional double layer application methods. All these processes together create the perfect blend between shape, looks, durability and weight. Summed up these are the benefits of our Aero SUP boards:

KOH PHA-NGAN, TH The SUP: Hippie-at-heart Ko Pha-Ngan has become popular with the wild and massive Full Moon Party. But there is peace and quiet to explore. Why here: If there isn’t a full moon party going on, it’s time to turn to the warm waters of Thailand. The warm and gentle waves of the Gulf Islands occur typically in the dry season and are perfect for the all-rounder. When to go: SUP is easiest between February and April, in the dry season. The more experienced rider can SUP all year long. However, rough waves are known to cancel ferries in the rainy season.

LJUBLJANA, SI The SUP: Pleasant and peaceful, Slovenia’s capital is one of Europe’s greenest and most liveable capitals. Car traffic is forbidden in the centre, resulting in green banks of the Ljubljanica River. Early modern designs of artist Jože Plečnik are popular sightseeing attractions from your SUP-board. Dive in the active cultural scene or museum after your discovery. Why here: The Ljubljanica River, which flows through the city’s heart, is free for everyone. In the summer, cafes set up their terrace along the rivers, so you can have your refreshment everytime. When to go: SUP around the year, with different highlights every season. Expect sunny days in April & may, street theatre and happenings in July and August, and in September & October warm temperatures and an autumn cultural program.

ARDENNEN, BE The SUP: Endless wandering and camping on the spot. The Ardennen, also known as the Ardennes Forest is a region of extensive forests, rolling hills and rough terrain. The area is located primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg, but stretches into Germany and France and is the place for endless touring sessions on a SUP-board. Why here: The rivers and trees of the Ardennes, provided the underlying charcoal industry assets that enabled the great industrial period of Wallonia in the 18th and 19th centuries. Stand Up Paddling through this area feels like turning over the leaves of a history book, or jungle book. When to go: With warm summers and cold winters – a mild continental climate -, adding some warm neoprene to your SUP-gear is a must. Mist and fog are also much more common so take safety precautions into account.

ALGARVE, PT The SUP: People in the Algarve know how to celebrate life. Chase the sun in Algarve’s scalloped bays and SUP from the sun, surf and sand of the south coast’s to the historical villages to the west Algarve coast. There’s much left to explore in this touristic beach wonderland. Why here: Feel like a drop in the ocean between pretty castle towns and historic villages, tree- and flower covered hillsides and discover birdlife. Combine your SUP-tour with hiking ‘the Algarviana’ for a mindblowing work out. When to go: SUP year-round, with water conditions best around July. The coast of the Algarve in southern Portugal is a seemingly endless series of some of Europe’s finest beaches.
