The rich culture of Budva poses a great deal of potential for development. This urban design and planning proposal highlights the strength of tourism and recommends further improvements to enhance the experience of its users. The concept of linking nodes as the focal point aims to provide continuity throughout the Budva promenade. The existing assets of the place such as the Old Town Budva, the statue of the ballerina, and Budva beach are taken into consideration when introducing innovative design. The amphitheater, museum, and aquatic center emphasize the significance of arts and culture, drawing people from all over the world, and making Budva a universal destination.

Immersion To Arts And Culture

The objective of ambient unit 1 is to encourage both locals and tourists to immerse themselves in the arts and culture of Budva. This space also promotes educational facilities, such as a proposal for a new museum, to introduce innovative concepts for its future development. At the same time, the Old Town Budva is further enlightening the community about the historical significance of the place.

Tourist Experience And Engagement

Ambient unit 2 particularly aims to engage tourism since it is the main driver of the economy of Budva. Marine biodiversity is also a public asset and these natural habitats need to be protected. A plan to expand the port where luxury yachts, taxi boats, and small fishing boats dock is a means to boost tourism and retain their culture. Moreover, the beach serves as a relaxing getaway from the stimuli of rapid urban life.

Leisure At Its Best

Entertainment and leisure are the main focus of ambient unit 3 and it provides the freedom to conduct various activities. Recreational facilities such as hotels, restaurants, and cafes are made to accommodate the users. Budva is also known for its active nightlife and gambling tourism. Many hotels have attached casinos, making them popular in the area.
