WHAT IS BARR?
Barr is a Swedish based company that strives to provide makers of all types with the tools they need. We are known for our high performance needles within the industrial sewing market that last a lifetime. It is here in the garment industry that we got our start in 1946. Though back then Barr™ was known as Martens Brand, after the founder Karel Martens. Through the years Martens gained traction and respect within the garment and fashion industry. Today Barr™ has been created to carry on the high caliber of Martens and bring the product not only to wholesale factories but to those in the public that wish to use the best tools for their craft. Our quality over quantity mindset shows in the products we produce. Barr only uses the highest quality industrial grade steel to produce our sewing supplies. This shows in our marketplace dominance. Whether sewing by hand or machine our needles will meet your needs and then some. We raise the barr when it comes to craft.
