This was the first packaging class I’ve taken. For this assignment, professor kampf gave all the designers an imaginary store. I was given Fezziwig’s, a Christmas Shop inspired by a storybook c haracter from A Christmas Carol. From there on out, designers were asked to brand and develop package designs for their imaginary stores. Fezziwig’s is the marriage of victorian and the modern age and offers an aray of holiday items such as Cookie Dough Mix (Fig. 1) and Greeting Cards (Fig. 2).

LEGO manual & TRavel App
A 9-page spread manual about the LEGO group’s history, logo parameters, corporate colors, typefaces and more. This booklet is 11 x 15 inc hes and is held together by perfect binding - accomplished by yours truly. Within the manual are details about a fictional travel app called LEGO Checkpoint. This app was created by a team of graphic designers and organizes business trips.

Film Festival Romantic Comedy
An upcoming film festival in Philadelphia, PA is taking place this April! Around the city, people will notice the theme of this film festival is Romantic Comedy, as seen on the official poster. The concept behind this poster is a boutique of popcorn, rather than roses, for those light humored movie-goers. The festival will offer a wide range of films, guest appearances, and so much more. Limitied quantity snack kits were designed especially for this festival.

Blackout
On your night out for drinks, Blackout is here to help. Our features include an array of services to ensure your safety (while having the ultimate amount of fun): Nearby, Contacts, Drink Counter, Tracker, & Tips. Bright neon colors are used as the color palette for this app. Why? Because it’s intended for night use. Blackout was founded in Jan 2015. With less than five weeks, the team created the app and as college students, we wanted an application that could be applicable to our peers, the age range 20 - 30.

Pilipino american culture night
Pilipino American Culture Night, or PACN for short, is a night of cultural dances and an acting showcase, celebrating the pilipino heritage. In 2014, the 24th annual PACN entitled The Best Of Us consisted of a cast of 100 Barkada members with an attendance of over 600 audience members. The store follows the lives of two brothers, Jacob and Mic hael, along with their friends Jess and Kristi. The official posters were promoted on social media accounts and printed the day-of for cast to sign for the two directors.

Barkada promotion
Barkada Pilipino American Student Association is located at Cal Poly Pomona. As the Public Relations on the Executive Board for the 2013 - 2014 academic year, I was responsible for the promotion of the club. Here are a few examples of flyers that I designed for various events Barkada was hosting. In each poster I wanted to create a different voice, while staying consistent with Barkada’s image as an organization.

A Los Angeles based adventurer, problem solver, and creative that goes by Paige Christine Gutierrez and lives by the motto Work Hard & Be Nice to People. She will be earning her Bac helor’s of Fine Art in Graphic Design this Fall 2015. This designer holds a special interest in hand lettered typography, package design, branding, layouts, and having fun while she designs. When she’s not designing she is enjoying eggs, c heese, and all things Disney.
