a little bit about us Hello We are Shane & Janelle, high school sweethearts, husband & wife creative team, and
letterpress printmakers. Together with the guys and gals on our in-house design and printing teams, we make up the Paisley Dog Letterpress family. Combining newfangled ideas with century old equipment and a 550+ year old printing process, we tell stories old and new through unique and inspired eco-conscious paper goods. At Paisley Dog Letterpress, we uphold the rare tradition of care and craftsmanship in printmaking.

the Buyer Dog Press, a Division of Design Revolution Studios., LLC.
PRINTER = Paisley
OPENING/INITIAL ORDER TERMS: $200.00 pre-paid (2 design/product minimum, 3 quantity minimum for each design/product). SUBSEQUENT ORDER TERMS: $100.00 pre-paid (2 design/product minimum, 3 quantity minimum for each design/product). FULFILLMENT: Fulfillment timetable(s) will be estimated upon order placement, as they may vary depending on the unique size and scope of your order. In stock items may ship sooner and separately from those requiring print production or customization. We strive to fill print-to-order and custom orders in a range of 4 - 6 weeks or sooner. PAYMENT: All orders must be paid in full prior to production/shipping, if paying via check (payment must clear prior to shipping). If applicable, a valid sales tax resale certificate must be submitted by the Company. SHIPPING & HANDLING: Your ship date and transit time(s) will be estimated based on the fulfillment status of your order. Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the Printer’s standard shipping policy is “FOB Shipping Point (Origin), Prepaid & Added.” RETURNS: Considering the nature of fine paper goods, returns are not acceptable without prior written authorization by the Printer and if accepted a 15% restocking fee may apply. The Company bears all costs associated with return shipping and inspection of goods. CANCEL/CHANGE/ADD ORDER: To cancel, change, or add to an order, you must first check the status of your order to see if this is possible. The Printer allows a five (5) day window from date of order in which to changes/cancellations/additions can be made, after which orders are considered in “production.” Please note that once an order begins production or is shipped, it cannot be canceled. Additionally, changes/additions may not be able to be accommodated and a new separate order may need to be placed for those goods. THE LETTERPRESS PROCESS: The beauty of letterpress printing is achieved on antique printing presses and each piece is an original work, rather than a copy of an original like modern printing techniques. Our team is comprised of expert printers, but it’s important to note that color/ink is added and controlled manually sometimes creating minor normal noteworthy variations inherent to the letterpress printing process; ink density and hue, depth of impression, etc. Large solid color areas may show some minor color variation throughout the run, some with darker ink density, some with slightly lighter density. Therefore, to keep other fine details in the artwork crisp, large solid areas of color/floods may not have as deep an impression as fine-line/text elements. Letterpress printers call the resulting mottled ink appearance “saltiness” which is dictated by the ink color in combination with the paper stock, choosing custom ink/papers may result in more or less saltiness than in our printed samples. Count on us for expert guidance in selecting the right combination of design elements and materials for a beautiful print job. FORCE MAJEURE: Printer shall not be held responsible for delay or failure to perform hereunder when such delay or failure is due to fire, flood, epidemic, act of God; the public enemy, unusually severe weather, or any other unusual conditions which cannot reasonably be foreseen or provided against. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: It is agreed to limit the liability of the Printer, to the Company for any and all claims, financial or all otherwise, including attorneys’ fees and costs, so that the total aggregate liability of the Printer shall not exceed the Printer’s total fee (less any Printer’s material, vendor and third party costs). SEVERABILITY AND GOVERNING LAWS: In the event that any provision(s) of these Terms and Conditions (Agreement) are deemed invalid, unreasonable or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision(s) shall be stricken from the Agreement or modified so as to render it reasonable, and the remaining provisions of this Agreement or the modified provision as provided above shall continue in full force and effect and be binding upon the parties. The validity of this Agreement and of any of its terms or provisions, as well as the rights and duties of the parties to this Agreement, shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
