RTCS EXPERIMENT WITH
REGIONAL TRAINING C
EXPERIMENT The Regional Training Conferences was a valuable learning experience for all who attended. It featured many workshops that allowed for many new officers, old officers, and general members to learn more about Key Club as well as the acquire new skills. In terms of Key Club-related workshops, members got to learn the duties of their positions, the Key Blub leadership structure, and other topics like contests at District Convention. Apart from Key Club, members also had the chance to learn skills they could use throughout life such as public speaking and ice breaking. Other than just learning, there was also a breakfast and lunch hosted by the host clubs of Bloomfield and Cedar Creek and attendees got to meet members of the district board, the Kiwanis members, and other Key Club members from other clubs. The Spring Regional Training Conferences were an utter success with everyone going home with a newly acquired skill set, a new set of friends, and an unforgettable day!

CONFERENCES @ NORTH AND SOUTH
H SERVICE COMPARED There were two different Regional Conferences held in the New Jersey District in the spring: one in the North and one in the South. In general, they taught the same workshops and covered the same material. They both also had the district executives present. However, there were some slight differences:
NORTH
The North generally had more people attend. Same workshops were repeated and taught at different times. Generally, members got to meet more people.
SOUTH
The South generally had less people attend. Workshops were smaller and more intimate. Generally, members got to bond closer to each other.

EDITOR’S LETTER Dear New Jersey District Board, I don’t know about you but I thought the Fall Regional Training Conferences at Cedar Creek and Bloomfield were amazing! It was great to see everyone once more before the summer starts. It was even better to get to see everyone in their new board polos and it was even better to get to see everyone teaching and preaching their workshops to the Key Clubbers. I’m pretty sure everyone did well with their workshops and the surveys support that thought. So far, it’s been a great starting for our service year. But anyway, moving on from the Regional Training Conferences: International Convention. It’s a whole week at Washington D.C. with you guys! I can’t wait! Key Club for a whole week sounds amazing and I can’t think of any other way I would want to spend my summer. Even better, we’re going on the fourth of July! The capital of the nation on the day the nation was officially found—this is almost too much too handle. June if going to take forever to pass. Well, I can’t wait for International Convention; I also can’t wait to see your newsletters New Jersey District Board! I’ve already spent some time reading through some of them. Some I’m really impressed by—they look stellar! However others are not as impressive. Remember if you need any help, that’s what I’m here for so please don’t be shy and ask me for help when you need it. I don’t bite despite the fact that I am “Pac-man”. I will be scheduling another newsletter help session in the future since the first one was cancelled because no one attended. Hope to see you all there this time!
