Sahib e Jamal by Afsaneh At Afsaneh, we believe that the act of dressing oneself is inadvertently an effort to tell a story about your own self; who you are, where you come from and who you want to be. Through our lush fabrics, quality craftsmanship and prints that evoke a unique sense of familiarity and strangeness simultaneously, we strive to help you tell these stories about yourself. Our debut unstitched collection, Sahib-e-Jamal features beautiful Mughalai bootis, Kashmiri paisleys, lotus flowers and artisanal embroideries. The color palette is autummer (autumn-summer) friendly - warm beiges with bright oranges, yellows and pinks, deep greens and navy; colors that traverse easily through the sensibility of both seasons. Through our prĂŞt and unstitched lines, we strive to weave fabrics that resonate with your personal narrative. 10

Where did you choose to go and why? I went to Toronto, Canada as my company STARLINKS PR AND EVENTS was handling the PR for 6th Hum Awards, and to San Francisco where Ms Shanaz Ramzi, CEO of our company had won a gold award in the category of female CEO of the Year.

Who did you travel with? I travelled with Shanaz Ramzi. Where did you stay? We stayed at Westin Harbor Castle in Toronto, and Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles!

Tell us about the sights no one should miss out on. While the CN Tower is always on a first-timer’s visit list to Toronto, it is the relatively unheard-of Terre Bleu Lavender Fields that one must visit.

Take a small umbrella for the unexpected shower you may get caught in! And do not forget to take warm clothes if you are planning to go to San Francisco no matter which part of the year you are visiting it in, as it is very windy and chilly even in the summers!

If you are in Toronto then a night out at Rebel is a must! It is Canada’s largest entertainment complex where events and parties take place every other night.
