zahra raza phuket

planes, trains & automobiles

Where did you choose to go and why? It was my best friend’s birthday and 12 of us childhood friends decided to go to Phuket in Thailand. I have been there before but each time it has given me a different experience. The weather is always beautiful and the people take the hospitality to another level.

Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you have the best food? In Phuket there are excellent restaurants where you can enjoy fresh sea food. My favourite meal was at ‘Joes Downstairs’ and the ‘Lobster’ lunch prepared for us at the gorgeous Koi Signiture Villa where we stayed.

ARIES (MAR. 21- APRIL 20) No case of the Mondays for you, Aries! Leave work a little early and socialize with your friends under the Aquarius Moon. You feel and show off your tender side when Mars enters your sensitive sector on Thursday. Mercury retrograde also helps you avoid messy confrontation when dealing with any uncomfortable emotions. Build bridges, don’t burn ‘em!

SCORPIO (OCT. 24 - NOV. 22) Happy Scorpio season, Scorpio! A cozy dinner at home might be your dream way to celebrate your new year. Mars enters your confidence and creativity sector on Friday, giving you the power to make your personal visualizations materialize. Mercury retrogrades in your income and security account, so discipline your financial spending just a bit. You’ll need it in December!

TAURUS (APR. 21- MAY 21) The Most Valuable Employee is you, Taurus! Your focus and productivity is off the charts. Leverage your successes well. Mars lights up your friendship sector on Friday, motivating you to connect more frequently. Possible power struggles could occur while Mercury is retrograde in your intimacy and honesty sector. So make it a win/win or no deal till the end of the year!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV. 23 -DEC. 21) Rise and shine, Sagittarius! The luckiest planet is helping you all year long. The Moon wants you to speak on your heart’s desires so the universe can make them happen. Time for a move? Mars enters your home sector on Friday and stays there throughout all of fall and winter. Mercury retrogrades in your sign, so keep thoughts high and words specifically accurate to let this transit help you.

GEMINI (MAY 22-JUNE 21) Optimism is practical, Gemini! The Moon helps you see on the bright side so you can positively transform everything in your path. Mars lights up your career, helping you advance and overcome any obstacles on Friday. Be brave in the pursuit of your bliss! Mercury retrogrades in your romance sector, resurfacing unresolved issues or past lovers. Be more curious than certain about these relationships.

CAPRICORN (DEC 22.- JAN. 20) A little luxury won’t hurt you, Cap. This week, take the time to indulge; you’ve earned it! Mars enters your thinking and communication sector on Friday, so learn how to speak and listen carefully through fall and winter. Mercury retrogrades in your closure sector, which removes the barriers between you and your highest experiences of love and joy.

CANCER (JUNE 22-JULY 22) You want the real deal, Cancer. The Moon ignites your passion for intimate and authentic connections. So make them happen! Perhaps internationally? Mars’ move on Friday sends you to far corners of the world in the weeks ahead. Just make sure you focus on the details while Mercury retrogrades in your health and wellness sector. Self-care’s the bottom line! LEO (JULY 23-AUG 22) Cupid’s arrows fly, Leo! The Moon electrifies the week with opposites-attract chemistry, so be more open to those who aren't your usual type. Mercury retrogrades in your confidence and courage sector, so try not to get hijacked by useless comparisons or insecurity. Remember, you’re a queen! VIRGO (AUG. 23 -SEPT. 23) Don’t sweat the small stuff, Virgo! There's nothing major to stress out about this week, so count to three before your anxieties off to the races. On Friday, Mars lights up your romance sector, helping you both focus and find the love you crave. Mercury also retrogrades in your home and sensitivity zone, so cultivate the skills for emotional resilience to keep your brilliant peace of mind. LIBRA (SEPT. 24 -OCT. 23) Live and love loudly, Libra. This isn’t the week for politeness and people-pleasing–your confidence and leadership is on display. Mars enters your organization and health zone on Friday, helping you find success from your routine. Mercury retrogrades in your thinking and communication sector, so avoid making up fictional stories in your head. Ask questions to clarify!

AQUARIUS (JAN. 21.- FEB. 19) The Moon shines for you, Aquarius! Let your courage stand out and inspire others to rise to your occasion. Mars enters your financial sector on Friday, helping you find the right values to achieve abundance for the rest of the year. Mercury also retrogrades in your friendship sector, inspiring heartfelt reunions and reflections on all the progress you’ve made together. Enjoy! PISCES (FEB. 20-MAR. 20) A week of opposites is here, Pisces. At first, you feel low all week, so take time to recharge. But on Friday, Mars enters Pisces and gives you a huge rush of energy, confidence, and ambition lasting until the end of the year. Use it to tend to your past-due professional projects and goals while Mercury retrogrades in your career sector!
