the fashion list!

ready, set, style! th is week mas hall chaudhri of reading room project s ty lish delphi o utfits and makes them her very own .

Comfort is everything to me and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that all Nida's pieces fit so beautifully - the crochet has a beautiful stretchy quality. This gold embellished sari is its own centrepiece so I preferred my hair simply up and a pair of Sherezad statement polki earrings to finish the look.

This outfit and photo makes me think of old world glamour and it's very surprising to see myself this way! I live in sweatpants so this beautifully worked ghagra choli with its dupatta depicting birds in flight was an ethereal treat to wear.

I truly love separates so my favourite thing about this outfit is that every piece is capable of being worn on its own, elsewhere! It's a colour palette I return to time and again. The zardozi on the coat and Sherezad's stunning choker made me feel positively regal (and reminded me not to slouch).

I love saris. Black is my staple and this one is luminous. Delphi is special for its artisanal, handmade work and this was no exception - the floral pattern on the blouse took my breath away. My favourite outfit of the four, I wore it with simple side-swept hair, a clear face and a dark lip. Travelling is great fun. You get to explore a new place, meet new people and get wiser! We want to know more and will share with you exciting travel stories from a few special people in our new section, planes, trains & automobiles! Where did you choose to go and why? The one thing I am passionate about beside my work is travelling. Whenever I want to get my mind off of work I travell to amazing serene beautiful places. This year to celebrate the New Year I went to Thailand. Amazing scenery, a rich culture, different language and great things to do to unwind made Thailand the perfect getaway destination. Who did you travel with? I usually always travel with my family and kids. but this time I travelled with my friends. These friends shared the same love for travelling and were a delight to travel with. Where did you stay?

travel diaries

Resorts have always fascinated me. I love the sound of waves splashing against the rocks at night. I always feel at ease when I'm on the beach. I checked in at the most amazing resort in Phuket with beautiful serene atmosphere. My advice to visitors is to stay in resorts near the sea! What are the best shopping spots there? Thailand is the one place where you can get both expensive and cheapest malls to shop. Shopping was my number one priority! I loved shopping at Siam Paragon mall where I bought amazing goodies from high end brands. Suggest some amazing restaurants there? I am the biggest foodie around. I love to explore the taste of new

Tell us about the sights noone should miss out on Thailand, the Land of Smiles, is one of the world’s greatest destinations. It’s the land of sunshine, beautiful beaches, spicy food, majestic temples, lush jungles and some of the most friendly people you will ever meet. You will literally walk down the street in Thailand and be greeted by locals who are enjoying life to the fullest, smiling and welcome foreigners into their wonderful country. The beaches here are truly the best. And of course, Bangkok's shopping is to die for!

other travellers enjoying the holiday of a lifetime Finally, any tips? Thailand is not a place to sleep.. Eat as much as you can while you party hard and if you want to relax go to beaches. River boats and bicycles are the best way to explore the temples and culture.

Suggest places for a perfect night out For many, the sun, the beach and partying go hand in hand. Phuket's reputation as a party city is well-deserved. With go-go bars, ladyboy cabaret shows, discos and clubs, live bands and international DJs, Thailand has everything. While most parts of the island have their own small party scene, the place to be after dark is Bangla Road in Patong, with its bright neon lights, loud music and crowds of young party-lovers.

What can you do over there to relax and unwind? Ko Phi Phi is one place where I have left my heart. The white sandy beaches are just waiting for you to relax and forget the world! Clear turquoise waters and amazing coral and marine life are the perfect jump-off point for snorkelling and scuba diving excursions. At night, you can enjoy the nightlife here and meet

This week, you'll want to hit the ground running! Now is the perfect time to charge full steam ahead on those new ideas you've been kicking around. Your force may knock a few people over, but your action will inspire. Keep up the momentum as the week continues, and don't be afraid to use the people around you to get what you want -- they're there to help. Be careful not to forget about friends and family, who may feel left out. You'll be forced to slow down toward the end of the week when a real problem pops up. Resist the urge to put out the fire. Instead, don't do anything -- let it burn itself out.

Let caution be your guide this week, as your risks and rewards might be hard to tell apart. Beware that all that glitters is not gold, and know-it-alls usually don't know anything. Mid-week, that annoying boss who loves to throw their weight around is pushing you over the edge. They are purposefully trying to provoke you, so don't let it get to you. You have a few friends who are in the same boat, and you could all benefit from blowing off some steam. Why not end the week with a nice, big dinner party? Together, you and your friends can relax and share some laughs.

You'll be restraining yourself a lot this week, biting your tongue while others make some choices you don't agree with. Give your friends the freedom to learn from their own mistakes. In doing so, you will distance yourself from some, but grow closer to others. Confusing things happen at work on Wednesday or Thursday. It's best if you just watch from the sidelines. Don't get involved -- you run the risk of changing your mind based on the wrong information. The weekend would be a great time to satisfy your creative urges with a trip to a concert or museum.

Feel free to be a little self-centered as this week begins -- you're in need of a big dose of TLC. Some problems in your social life have got you thinking twice about things; restore your positive energy by treating yourself well. Don't fret if you feel like being alone as the week continues. It's ok to say 'no' to that dinner invitation; give yourself the space you need. By the end of the week, your good energy will surge back, and you'll be ready to re-connect with friends. Look for opportunities to help others -- you'll end up helping yourself at the same time.

24July/23August

Romantic memories will stick with you all week long, giving you an energy boost when things get boring, and encouragement when your workload piles up. Expect some travel in the early part of the week -- nothing major, but it will reignite your old wanderlust. You'll know exactly where you want to go next! People with small minds will irk you; of course, you'll still make a good impression on them. As the week ends, watch that your pride doesn't get in the way of your relationship. It's best for you to listen, be calm and not fly off the handle.

You know, you could go much faster if other people would just get out of your way! The real question is: Do you need to go any faster? Try things at a slower pace this week; see how it feels. A family obligation will cause a bit of conflict. Take a risk and suffer the consequences (they won't be that bad). If you're currently unattached, someone you meet through work will provide an opportunity for romance. Be generous in your assessment of others. Just like you, they're doing the best they can.

Seek out new experiences and innovative ideas throughout the week. Your intellect is hungry, so feed it with anything that makes you curious. Even if some bad memories from your past come into play mid-week, you can see them in a new way and learn from them. By Friday, a fresh, romantic breeze will blow all your blues away. Intellectual connections will inspire your creativity -- but resist the urge to cancel plans in order to get started on a project. At the weekend, get involved with something that helps make the world a more beautiful place.

You've got good instincts, which will be an important thing to remember this week. People will urge you to 'just go with the flow', but you know what's best, so listen to your heart. Ambition wears down your self-control as you move further into the week. You're working very well with an influential person in the office who's good at making empty promises, so proceed with caution. There's some negative energy around your home at the end of the week. A small home improvement or redecoration project could be the perfect antidote.

aquarius

pisces

You're entering a week full of opportunity -- you can make amazing things happen right off the bat, so go for it! If you spend some time in group activities or at meetings, your communication skills will be strong -- you'll be the one connecting the dots and drawing the big picture for everyone to see. Mid-week, you'll get a nice burst of energy that will drive you to explore new things and think seriously about making a big change. Make sure you have a well-developed plan for that change, or you'll end up going around in circles. Watch your spending as the week comes to a close -- a banking error may give you a false sense of security.

Some controversy will start the week; stand up for what you believe, even if those in power may disagree. Luck will be in your side. Just make sure to be diplomatic and tactful -- you'll need to form your words carefully. Some of your seldomly used skills will come in handy in the middle of the week when you answer an unexpected cry for help from a friend. Their gratitude will give you a nice, warm feeling. Why not pop out this weekend and buy yourself something lavish and unnecessary? You deserve it.

21March/20April

21April/21May

sagittarius capricorn 23November/21December

22December/20January

You might get a bit teary-eyed when a friend you admire makes a special effort to show you how much they admire you! It's going to be that kind of week -- lots of warm, fuzzy feelings. If you feel it, say it -- that's your mantra. Money, or your lack of it, is on your mind as some big bills are due. A small adjustment -- making your own lunch, for example -- could make a big difference. By the time the weekend comes, you might feel a bit emotionally exhausted, but that shouldn't stop you from getting out and painting the town red. There are many people who want to meet you.

Your perfectionism is going to be valuable this week -- you've got some a few challenges right off the bat, and you'll need to stick to the plan to get everything done. Discipline is key. Luckily, you'll be able to lighten up by Thursday, and everyone praises your accomplishments. Rest easy in a job well done. Their positive feedback will give you a nice boost of energy, which will come in handy for new adventures at the end of the week. There's a lot of creativity coming into play: singing, dancing or painting.
