ALEX PERRY RESIDENTIAL

IN BRISBANE’S FORTITUDE VALLEY ALEX PERRY RESIDENTIAL HAS SEEN THE WORLD RENOWNED AUSTRALIAN DESIGNER EXTEND HIS REACH FROM HAUTE COUTURIER THROUGH TO PROPERTY DEVELOPER, AFTER THE BRISBANE PORTION OF ALEX PERRY’S PROPERTY PORTFOLIO WAS SUCCESSFULLY RELAUNCHED BY PLACE ON MARCH 19 IN BRISBANE AND SAW ALEX PERRY HIMSELF IN ATTENDANCE. Only 38 luxury residential apartments are now available from the original sale of 143 and brand-new display apartments are now available for inspection. Place Projects is marketing the project and to date 105 apartments have been sold. Prices for the various 38 Alex Perry Residential dwellings start at $410,000 for a one bedroom apartment and $565,000 for a two bedroom dwelling. Rental yields on Alex Perry Residential are expected to reach 5 per cent and apartment sizes range from 50 square metres through to 81 square metres.


Place Projects director Bruce Goddard explained how the iconic Alex Perry brand has fuelled demand for the development. “We’ve had strong interest for this project. It just shows not only the strength of the current Brisbane apartment market, but also shows how influential the Alex Perry name is across the board, whether it be fashion or property development, Mr Perry consistently generates national interest,” Mr Goddard said. According to Corelogic RP Data’s figures on the most recent six months of sales activity to September 2014, Fortitude Valley’s median price for a two bedroom unit was reported as $495,000. Fortitude Valley is currently dominated by medium density dwellings. A price point analysis of the 173 settled sales that occurred during the most recent six month period ending September 2014 reveals that the majority (27 per cent) of sales occurred within the $500,000 to $599,000 price range, making Alex Perry residential an affordable yet luxurious dwelling opportunity for buyers.
