Driven Place Property Managers are a driving force within the Place business. Every day our teams deliver world class property management services to an ever expanding list of landlords and tenants. Theirs is a challenging role, requiring a positive attitude and a great deal of attention to detail. However, for the ideal candidate, the role of a property manager is a very rewarding position. Just ask Meghan Ryan. Meghan is one of our Bulimba office’s shining stars. She’s worked as a Property Manager with Place since moving to Brisbane from Emerald. “I love my career”, Meghan told us recently. “And I’m so grateful for the opportunities Place has given me”. “When I first arrived from Emerald, I had been working in property management for 2.5 years. I came to Brisbane looking for an opportunity to progress in my career and for me, Place was the obvious choice. Place is such a great business to work for and the culture here inspires you to become the best you can be.” Meghan explained. “Plus, the ongoing training and extracurricular opportunities they’ve provided me has given me the confidence to achieve beyond my expectations.” Like many of the Property Managers at Place, Meghan has a very sociable personality and enjoys the day-to-day interaction she has with her portfolio of clients.

As a Property Manager, Meghan’s responsibilities include ongoing management of rentals, property inspections, overseeing repairs and maintenance and renegotiating leases. Her role can be quite demanding. “You need to be a good time manager and a good problem solver,” she revealed. “However, one of the best parts of the job is dealing with lots of different people. Every day is different. No matter whether I’m liaising with a homeowner or a tenant, I really enjoy getting to meet interesting people and ensuring they’re being looked after.” Going the extra mile has been a hallmark of the Place philosophy since the agency’s inception. It’s a value that has helped the business earn recognition as Queensland’s best agency five times in the past seven years. It is also a trait that is widely encouraged and well rewarded.
