ADULT AND TOT TRIPLE PLAY SPORTS

Age: 2-3 years

Location: Ost East Instructor: SportsKids Inc Min/Max: 5/16 This class will feature the three sports of the season: soccer, t-ball, and basketball. Young children will develop motor skills while having fun throwing, catching, batting, running, and kicking like the big kids. A variety of activities designed around these three sports will be played each week. Parents and their little athletes will enjoy making new friends and working together. Bring a labeled water bottle. In case of rain, the class will be held on the Community Center Gym

Instructor: SportsKids Inc Min/Max: 5/16 Sign up your little one for the ultimate first time sports experience! Each week adults will assist their tots as they play different sports, improve listening skills, and learn how to follow directions. A variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, and kickball will be explored through fun games and partner play. This is a great opportunity to get active with your child in a positive and controlled setting. Bring a labeled water bottle.

TINY TOT OLYMPICS

Age: 2-3 years

Location: Birchwood Gym Instructor: SportsKids Inc Min/Max: 5/16 Get in on the Olympic spirit with your child as you join us for this fun class! Boys and girls will jump, run, throw, and develop a variety of other skills as they participate in soccer, basketball, floor hockey, track and field, and other Olympic sports. Children and parents will participate in pint-size Olympic games during the last class of the session. Events made just for the smallest athletes will include an obstacle course, pool noodle javelin throw, the long jump, soccer ball kick, and relay races. Bring a labeled water bottle.

TWILIGHT T-BALL

DISCOVER SCIENCE WITH ME

ITTY BITTY DANCERS

Age: 2 years

Location: Community Room 2C Instructor: Patti Reid Min/Max: 5/10 This is an introductory ballet class where young movers learn ballet basics in an encouraging and creative learning environment. Girls wear leotard and tights, boys wear t-shirt and shorts. Adults should wear clothes that are easy to move in because they will be participating with their little dancer. Wear soft-soled shoes.

KID ROCK

Location: Community Room 1E Instructor: Rock-N-Kids Staff Min/Max: 4/12 Wiggle, giggle, dance, and sway, have some fun the Rock ‘n’ Kids way! Tot Rock and Kid Rock are movement-based learning and imaginative play classes with music. All class procedures are designed to keep staff and students safe. Activities are age appropriate by class and will include songs and rhymes, rhythm and coordination, fine and gross motor, imagination and sensory, listening and following directions skills. With a focus on STEAM learning, each session will have a new educational theme. Join us for music that really can’t be “beat!”

ART IN THE PARK

RECIPE FOR SUMMER FUN

Recipes will be seasonal. Each child will receive a copy of the recipes. A variety of ingredients are used in this class. Please inform the instructor about any food allergies.

Storytime In The Park

Instructor: Palatine Public Library Staff Join us for an outside story time presented by the Palatine Public Library. Bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy stories under the sun. An adult must remain with the child during story time. No registration is needed for this program.
