CONTRACT GRADE SEATING
When we label a furnishing as hospitality or contract grade, it indicates that the product has proven through rigorous load testing that it can hold up in a high traffic setting, and we’ve refined the piece to be aesthetically pleasing from every angle.
INDOOR HIGH RESILIENCY FOAM & OUTDOOR QUICKDRYFOAM ®
Our indoor cushioned furnishings are made with High Resiliency foam with superior comfort and longevity. All outdoor furniture comes with QuickDryFoam ® composed of large reticulated cells that permit maximum water drainage and air circulation with built-in anti-microbial protection.
UL LIGHTING
All of our lighting is UL and cUL certified, which means it is safe for installation anywhere in the US and Canada without modifications (and also signifies that it has been comprehensively, rigorously, independently tested).

We offer the industry’s largest selection of handcrafted wood, wicker, and rattan frames, which can be finished in any color and with smooth or distressed textures. Our nontoxic, water-based frame finishing is carried out in California by skilled artisans. This domestically based finishing enhances our ability to meet tight turnaround deadlines. PALECEK’s finishing process can include as many as ten different steps to achieve our distinctive rich color and depth of tone. Included in the process is the application of the highest-quality UV protectants, which help ensure your furnishings will endure for decades to come.

WOODSIDE BED, WHITE SAND
BY JEFFREY ALAN MARKSMATERIAL
Lampakanay (lahm-pa-ka-NAI) is a cattail-like seagrass that grows wild in swamps and marshes throughout the Philippine archipelago, where it has been harvested, processed, and woven by local communities for centuries. Once it is dried, its natural brown color can be lightened to beautiful shades of tan and sand white. It can be twisted into a resilient rope, which can be wrapped or woven around a frame to create the patterns that lend a look of organic beauty to many of our signature furnishings, lighting pieces, and accessories.

MATERIAL
Inspired by abaca rope, this synthetic version is made of polyethylene (PE). It is a non-toxic material and can be 100% recycled. Even when burned, no toxic substances are generated. It is UV tested and weather resistant. It won’t fade or split under normal use and proper care. Great for ease of care and outdoor use.

Teak wood has a natural golden-brown color that over time will weather and naturally change into an elegant gray patina. It is also the ideal wood for outdoor furniture for these top reasons:
• Weather Resistant – It is one of the few woods in the world containing a natural oil which repels water, keeping it from warping, cracking or becoming brittle. Outdoor furniture made from teak will withstand the harsh effects of hard rains, severe winter snow storms and broiling sun with minimal effect to its structural integrity.
Pest & Mold Resistant – The same resins and oils that protect against weather, also serve as repellents against insects like termites, marine borers and mold.
• Low Maintenance – With the wood’s high oil content, teak will fade naturally into an elegant patina grey. Teak’s natural look can be maintained by regularly applying teak oil.

Cane is made from the outer layer or bark of rattan, a sturdy yet pliable vine native to Southeast Asia and the Philippines. The bark is removed from the vine in thin strips, which are then woven to create sheets of webbed matting. We use cane matting in chair seats and backs and as decorative accents that add a layer of organic beauty and texture to a variety of furnishings. Cane can be stained to complement the colors and finishes of other materials.

MATERIAL
Abaca plant, related to the banana plant, is prized for its strong stalk, the interior of which is resilient and rubbery. Abaca fiber can be twisted into rope and woven. We often use this rope as a decorative element in our furnishings. Sealed with a topcoat of resin or varnish and illuminated from behind, it reveals its beautiful natural fiber patterns—one of reasons we often incorporate it into lighting fixtures.

Coconut shells can be sanded smooth and polished to reveal their natural off-white and delicate translucency, which makes them a frequent choice for finishing our lighting fixtures. Beads made from polished coconut shells can be strung into decorative strands and chain-link-style netting that we also use as decorative elements for lighting.
