WELCOME... to Winter 2010 with Paddy Pallin 2010 marks 80 years of Paddy Pallin supplying Australian bushwalkers, adventurers and travellers. For all this time our focus has been the same; great lightweight gear to make your trips easier, safer and more enjoyable. Though our birthday will not be held until November this year, I hope that you will join us in celebrating as Paddy would have wanted, by getting out in the scrub and exploring our beautiful natural world. I had some reservations about using a northern hemisphere backdrop to introduce our 80th year. This seemed a little out of place for a company that is proud of being quintessentially Australian. That is until I realised two important factors that make up being Australian in the 21st century. Firstly, our company, like our country is an amalgam of people from all cultures and backgrounds, we are stronger because of this diversity. Secondly, the key element behind Paddy Pallin and the reason our customers keep coming back, is the spirit of exploration, the curiosity to know more about our world, its people and all its wild places.
