DEAR DONORS,

2020 has been the most challenging year The Albany Academies have faced in a long time.

Managing the effects of COVID-19 has been an ongoing test of resilience and adaptive management across all areas of school operations. From my perspective, we continue to meet and exceed these challenges, and I could not be prouder of how our professional and family communities have come together during this remarkable time.

From a purely financial perspective, we have incurred significant unplanned operational costs necessary to create a safe campus environment for in-person learning and to provide a high-quality remote learning experience for those students who are unable to join us on campus.

Your ongoing support of The Albany Academies has a tremendous impact on our ability to do this. Over the last few years, you have played a vital part in our increased financial surety. This allowed us to face our current challenges confidently, knowing that we have your philanthropic support of our endowment, capital projects, and annual giving initiatives.

This report highlights these efforts, for which we are all incredibly grateful. If you can continue this support, it will have an ongoing impact on our ability to navigate whatever the rest of 2020 and 2021 may have in store for us.
