Cultural artifact architectural Design III The Chinese Tea Ceremony is an act of respect and union. My design was highly influenced on how the ceremony has rigorous steps that involve taste, sight, and smell. In my design, these three senses join to give one same experience.

Apiary architectural Design IV This design was influenced by bees and the importance of understanding them. The networking of the site and connections link the 5 programmatic areas to promote movement. User comfort was a priority to mimic the beehive’s structure and constant use.

Music Studio Center Principles of Landscape Architecture Intended to provide the community with a space that will inspire creativity through nature and music. This park can be used to unwind, learn, and perform within its design based on sound waves.

Turlington Plaza Principles of landscape architecture My proposal to change Turlington Plaza is to promote native vegetation and sustainable design. It has a stormwater treatment feature to counter the consequences of the amount of hardscape. Reintegrating low-maintenance native plants in an attractive way can inspire users to do the same in their homes and gardens.

PROPOSED PERSPECTIVE

Golf course clubhouse Site Design and Planning Studio A golf course clubhouse’s circulation needs to be safe and functional. Functionality and connectivity for the users of the space was very important because of the intricacies between the program elements. This design also promotes the preservation of the existing vegetation and marsh.

Sports facility grading Landscape Construction Changing the grading of a site to incorporate program elements is crucial for Landscape Architecture. These projects helped me understand how topography works and all the constraints that come with it.

19

Farm house grading Landscape Construction Topography can be very tricky in a small site. In this farm house grading project, the design was based on how water would flow through the site and not disturb the residence or the multi-purpose fields.

20

Florida Sand dunes Design Communication 1 This created perspective depicts a path through the sand dunes of South Florida. I designed a long boardwalk of grayish color and chose tropical plant species to recreate a realistic path.

21

NATL Design Communication 1 The Natural Area Teaching Laboratory in UF offers trails through different habitats. These diagrams help portray all that NATL has to offer.

Programs and activities all throughout the colored trail visitors can participate in activities such as: ..........walking

..........running ..........educational fieldtrips

..........wildlife research

......bird watching

stormwater management strategies
