• We know you want unrivalled financial security, so with our ATOL approved Trust Account, we give you just that. Your money is 100% safe with us.
• Our team is our business. Our people have flair, spirit, confidence, enthusiasm and energy but most of all, we are creative perfectionists.
• We simplify the process. Our totally personal service removes the need for automated call centres
Your Personal Cruise Connoisseur

MICHAEL UNGERER CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER EXPLORA JOURNEYSINTRODUCING EXPLORA JOURNEYS
INTRODUCING A BOLD NEW VISION FOR OCEAN TRAVEL
Explora Journeys is the NEW luxury lifestyle travel brand launched by the MSC Group with the AMBITION to redefine the luxury cruise category.
Designed in partnership with the world’s foremost super-yacht specialists, EXPLORA I — the first ship in the Explora Journeys fleet — sets sail in Summer 2023.
THE CONCEPT
Vibrant, cosmopolitan RELAXED European luxury at SEA . Instead of cruises we create journeys – of the MIND and across the OCEANS of the world, as we visit EXTRAORDINARY places on and off the beaten track.
ON BOARD
Spaces that offer guests relaxed luxury, creating a Home at Sea. Restoring life’s ESSENTIAL balance with a combination of discovery and appreciation for WELLBEING and NATURE .
This is what the NEW GENERATION of discerning travellers have asked for and this is what they will ENJOY on Explora Journeys.
HERITAGE
This is a story that has its beginnings in Sorrento with a Neapolitan ferry captain – Gianluigi Aponte – who, with the Swiss sweetheart he met when she was a passenger on one of his crossings, went on to create MSC, a global shipping operation and the world’s largest privately-owned cruise company.
Now this family is fulfilling their life-long dream and launching Explora Journeys, an exquisite, modern luxury cruise experience like no other.
THIS SEAFARING FAMILY IS CREATING AN ENTIRELY NEW WAY OF OCEAN TRAVEL
At
the heart of the MSC Group is a PASSION for the seas, oceans and waters that sustain our PLANET.
THE OCEAN AND ITS INFLUENCE
OUR INHERENT RESPECT FOR THE SEA IS ALWAYS IN FOCUS
This has carried through generations of the Aponte family and will do so into the future. It is why the ocean will always remain at the forefront of the Explora Journeys experience,
allowing curious, cosmopolitan travellers to harness its unique energy which in turn inspires inner and outer discovery.
INSPIRED BY THE SEA
DISCOVER THE OCEAN STATE OF MIND EXPLORA JOURNEYS 14 INTRODUCING EXPLORA JOURNEYS
The ocean relaxes you and creates an energy in you that inspires inner and outer discovery, broadens horizons and triggers new connections.
All of this creates an emotional connection that is powerful, transformative, yet universal. We call it the Ocean State of Mind.
THE OCEAN CONNECTS YOU WITH YOURSELF, PEOPLE AND THE PLACES AROUND YOU.
The Ocean State of Mind is reached only with Explora Journeys. It’s why all that we do is designed to offer refined yet effortless luxury, with the opportunity for exploration and transformation of the inner and outer self, resulting in a state that is uniquely rewarding — physically, intellectually and spiritually.
OUR NAME
Inspired by our PASSION for EXPLORATION and discovery
Our contemporary typeface reflects the subtle curves of the sea in its elegance and simplicity.
MANDALA
An INTEGRAL element of our STORY
With deep roots in spirituality, the mandala represents a journey of personal awakening and fulfilment. The lotus flower symbolises purity of body, speech and mind, whilst the fleur-de-lis motif represents humility and a clear connection to the family’s esteemed European heritage.
LOGO
OUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT
We hold the seas and oceans that sustain our planet in the very highest regard.
This innate respect is why Explora Journeys –in partnership with Fincantieri – is committed to building the ships of tomorrow, utilising the very latest in environmentally supportive technologies whilst being primed to adapt to alternative energy solutions as they become available.
Our ships will utilise progressive technology and innovations to ensure Explora Journeys is always leading the movement towards a more sustainable future. This means committing to developing ground-breaking technologies that will help create a more positive future, not just for this generation but for future ones too.
Explora Journeys’ fundamental respect for the planet is the central component of the journey, never forceful nor intrusive upon the destinations and local communities, and conscientious of the environment and sustainability. We will support and give back to noble environmental causes through the MSC Foundation.
Our destination experiences will be designed to leave a positive impression and footprint on the places and people visited by placing a spotlight on local talents, craftsmanship, culture, gastronomy and traditions.
HAVING A POSITIVE IMPACT
Our fleet design incorporates provision for battery storage allowing future hybrid power generation, as well as the latest selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology, enabling a reduction of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by 90%.
Single-use plastics will not be used onboard the ship, nor will they be offered during land-based experiences - Explora Journeys is dedicated to leaving a positive impression on the places and people visited on their ocean journeys.
Values in action for a better world
The MSC Foundation, a private non-profit foundation, was established by the Aponte family to direct and advance the MSC Group’s environmental, humanitarian and sustainable development commitments worldwide.
The Foundation works to restore the critical balance between people and the environment. Its ethics are inspired by the family-owned MSC Group’s values and above all, a sense of responsibility for the planet, its oceans and people. The Foundation’s mission is to utilise
MSC’s global reach and unique knowledge of the sea to take immediate action that contributes to protecting and nurturing the blue planet and all its people. It encourages the sustainable management and protection of ecosystems, empowers vulnerable communities around the world to realise their full potential, promotes quality, equitable and inclusive education to enhance durable individual and collective development and helps disaster-struck populations towards recovery.

OUR NORTHERN EUROPE, UK & IRELAND JOURNEYS
Raw, romantic, SURREAL , we go offgrid as we passage amidst glassy sea lochs, glaciers, and BUBBLING geysers, from bewitching fjords to enchanting wild waterfalls tumbling down amidst dense forests until those beguiling cities BECKON once more.
NORTHERN EUROPE, UK & IRELAND JOURNEYS
As we traverse these magnetic metropolises, we’ll step through globally renowned galleries and beautifully landscaped gardens, uncover Norse mythology and Inuit traditions, follow in the footsteps of Shakespeare and Ibsen, and seek festivals of music, from Glastonbury to floating jazz on the beautiful tree-lined canals of Hamburg and Bruges.
The pendulum swings between art, culture and cocktails in Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities and connecting with nature at its most powerful and restorative; between hearing Big Ben chime in London and slipping into a thermal spring in Iceland under a Midnight Sun.

EXPLORA I MAIDEN JOURNEY
A MAIDEN JOURNEY INTO EPIC FJORDS & THE ARCTIC CIRCLE
Embarkation/disembarkation ports
For those who seek the rare and uncompromising, our champagne-studded Maiden Journey will put you in a rare state of bliss. Southampton sets us sailing to the cosy canallined hamlet of Bruges before you chart a course beyond the ephemeral boundary of the Arctic Circle. The spirit yearns when the sea beckons you to Hellesylt and Geiranger where inlets, cliffs and waterfalls tumble in shards of silver to dissolve into a rainbow mist. You see craggy cliffs jutting like dragons out of tranquil fjords and legendary landscapes allegedly created by mischievous trolls. Find some of the world’s best scenery in the pocket-sized paradise of Lofoten then follow the wake of Vikings into the Sognefjord to Flåm, Bergen then Stavanger which spoils with Lysefjord and epic hiking trails. The uniqueness of light draws you to Skagen then onward to the cool Scandinavian mist of Copenhagen to stroll amongst the castles of North Zealand, a fittingly royal ending to a historic Maiden Journey.

Ignite your wanderlust with a heart full of “forelsket”, the Danish word for falling in love. As the Norse Viking warriors once did, we depart Copenhagen to conquer an amalgam of mysteries. In the Shetland Islands and Orkneys, we find the past is etched into lands that fan out from Lerwick and Kirkwall including stately high streets and indecipherable standing stones that hint of human history dating back 5,000 years. Panoramic vistas of alpine fields are crisscrossed with walking trails, woolly sheep and splashes of wildflowers. Memories of aged whisky linger on your lips as you navigate towards the icy narrows of Iceland. Like the captivating swell of an ocean wave, the tempo of this journey builds as we reach Reykjavik. An overnight affords time to explore soul-enriching sites inside the Golden Circle, the underworld wonders of a deep magma chamber, or zipping beside looming icebergs in a fast boat. The last wild place on earth lingers forever in memory.
Embarkation/disembarkation ports
Multilayered, mesmeric, and utterly indefinable, Iceland fulfils dreams of eco-curious experiences. Emotions are amplified standing before the uncontrollable energy of waterfalls, unearthly blue lagoons, and staggering sites that ring the Golden Circle around Reykjavik. Sailing northward around a filigreed coastline of peninsulas—each with its own geological marvels, stories, and wildlife. Thunderstruck, you gaze upon a mountainous valley that shelters Puffins, Arctic Foxes, and idyllic Ísafjörður village. Alight on trails leading upwards to spy bird-watching cliffs, waterfalls plucked from a fantasy, and glaciers that are expanding. Skimming the rim of the Arctic Circle, you sail onward through the halls of Heaven and into the deepest Icelandic fjord to find Akureyri; a buzzing whalewatching outpost also renowned for Goðafoss and Icelandic horses, which are the purest breed in the world. Leaving behind huffing volcanos and exploding geysers, you venture southward to Skagen then disembark in Copenhagen to linger in its achingly cool design and historic palaces.

Our days of exploration start in Copenhagen and Göteborg, both of which share titles as two of the world’s greenest cities. A day at sea leads us to Norway’s crown city of Oslo to find history proudly on display at the Viking Ship Museum and City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prizes are awarded yearly. We board fast-boats to experience lovely Lysefjord, glide awestruck alongside the Hegjane Waterfall, then discover a mountain stairway, created by Nepalese sherpas, to Preikestolen for soul-enriching cliff-views. We fuel the spirit with the neo-Nordic food scene that has put Stavanger on the culinary map then ply the Elbe River to call upon Hamburg, Germany’s “capital of cool”, where affluent shopping promenades mix with a UNESCO World Heritage Site and together cement Hamburg as a must-do retreat amongst the most sophisticated social circles.
Charming canals and liquid highways lead us to desirable destinations where accolades and achievements cascade like the currents. Hamburg, with six times as many canals as Venice, owes its affluence to water. Today, the most notable network of canals wind through Speicherstadt and beside the sensational Elbphilharmonie concert hall that is applauded as the most acoustically advanced in the world. Landmark architecture in Rotterdam is similarly set beside life-sustaining canals that now reflect marvellous urban living. Our quest continues to Zeebrugge that is forever linked by the Baudouin Canal to Bruges. Everything here puts its best face toward the water, including the Quay of the Rosary and the Basilica of the Holy Blood that is reported to have a venerated relic of Christ’s blood. Water sustains the dream of the adventurer and there is no time it is more appreciated than aboard this journey.
OUR INAUGURAL
UNITED KINGDOM & IRELAND JOURNEY
An Inaugural Journey around the ICONIC British & Irish Isles – islands STEEPED in HISTORY and mythology, with striking coastlines and a wild ROMANTICISM .
The teak promenade of EXPLORA becomes your stylish catwalk as you journey to where men wear kilts and women mash the best scotch whisky. Walk in the footsteps of saints and ancient kings. Cross paths with artists and poets who protest there “may be dragons”. Edinburgh is enigmatic with come-hither nooks and the jaw-dropping global performance of the Military Tattoo set before the light-washed Castle. Hadrian’s Wall and the Angel of the North draw us to Newcastle. Are there mightier men than those in the Highlands of Invergordon who still look upon quiet glens filled with history of past carnage? Nip Ireland’s whisky at the Sliabh Liag Distillery or cycle past the Troubles in Derry across the Peace Bridge. Sing of Yellow Submarines in Liverpool then go in search of kingdoms of the sylvan and sublime in Glasgow and beyond.
3
A phenomenon in nature occurs when golden sunshine dances across misty, green glens to create a rare effect of celestial light. The luxury of this luminosity begins in Glasgow, where we seek the interlude of modern and ancient sites from Loch Leven to the “armadillo” performance arts centre and charming Buchanan Street, comparable to London’s West End. We follow a crinkled shoreline to find Fort William, the “outdoor capital of the UK” and gateway to the prettiest glens including Glencoe and Glenfinnan, made even more famous in the movies Skyfall and Harry Potter respectively.
The light in Skye, Orkney Islands and Shetland Islands is exceedingly remarkable and spotlights some of the most geologically diverse landmasses in the world. Chasing the midnight sun, we call on the remarkable Faroe Islands, a fairytale of unfathomable allure that seems to come straight out of a Jules Verne novel. Our journey’s final salutation to the sun in Iceland begins enlightening experiences on the land.

OUR INAUGURAL ICELAND & GREENLAND JOURNEY
An Inaugural Journey carrying you to the HEART of the land of ICE , where breath-taking SIGHTS abound and NATURE never fails to AMAZE
We are all travellers at heart who crave that tantalizing spark of excitement when stepping into the unfamiliar. Nowhere is that fire better kindled than in the land of ice, where lifeaffirming wonders includes deeply immersive adventures.
Zodiak beside looming icebergs. Spelunk massive ice caves. Snorkel between tectonic plates. While most consider this landscape as other-worldly, it is pure heaven to film directors and A-list actors who forge through Game-of-Thrones scenery.
A golden circle of soul-enriching sites inside the Golden Circle, flights over Gullfoss, Geysir, then immersion beyond Isafjördur. Breath-taking Greenland brings us to the calving Eqi Glacier, the lineage of Erik the Red, and Qaqortoq, the “White Palace,” abounding with icebergs, whales and the Lyngmark Glacier.
Reality brings us back to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and New York where carefully crafted land experiences let you explore like a local.

OUR US & CANADA ATLANTIC COAST JOURNEYS
A prolonged stay in “the city that never sleeps” is followed by a gentle meander up the coast of America’s New England, peeping into Boston, where the wharves whisper of tea parties and independence, and Newport, which promises small-town charm, Victorian mansions, and – in autumn – forests ablaze with colour.
EASTERLY WINDS DRAW US
HISTORIC
OLDEST
Commissioned in 1787 at the behest of America’s founding President George Washington, and to eat world-renowned ruby lobster in the neighbouring harbour.
Nudging into Atlantic Canada and plying the waters between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick brings dramatic rockscapes and redsand beaches; here days at sea allow nature at its most windswept to unfold as we slip past rugged shores, allowing us to restore and renew.
13 species of marine mammals feast on the plentiful krill (including minke and beluga whales) weaving past its craggy clefts, tiny islands and the beautiful UNESCO Manicouagan-Uapishka Biosphere Reserve. Beautiful at every time of year, the journeysend is in the picturesque Québec City, home
to the especially charming cobbled streets of the UNESCO-protected old quarter and the green-turreted Château Frontenac farmto-table restaurants and unrivalled French cuisine, and galleries showcasing contemporary local design.
We’ll HIKE and kayak to Fundy Bay’s photogenic flowerpot ROCKS before following the WHALE route of the St Lawrence River
OUR INAUGURAL US & CANADA ATLANTIC COAST JOURNEY
OUR INAUGURAL US & CANADA ATLANTIC COAST JOURNEY NEW YORK CITY BOSTON SAINT JOHN GULF OF ST. LAWRENCE QUÉBEC CITY
An Inaugural Journey laced with opportunity and DISCOVERY as you TRAVERSE the North American East Coast, from ICONIC New York up to beautiful Québec City.
The land of opportunity is not just a moniker, it also applies to experiences that go beyond the superficial to delve deep into the soul of North America. There is no place with more potentiality than Manhattan, the global capital of commerce and culture. The MoMa, Wall Street and Harlem, Gotham City embraces it all … and so can you easily during an overnight in the metropolis that never sleeps. Saunter into the galleries of Soho; nosh at restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen; sail beside the Statue of Liberty, the glorious gift from France. Beautiful sites continue in Boston, dubbed the Athens of America. Go behindthe-scenes along Freedom Trail; witness the Old North Church; call upon Paul Revere’s House; and hear the battle cries at Bunker Hill Monument. Intriguing beyond measure, we sail to St. John’s, which serves as gateway to the Bay of Fundy, a jaw-dropping phenomenon with a tidal change so massive that actually cause a shift in the region’s gravity. From one astonishment to the next, we slip through the St. Lawrence River to arrive at Québec City just as a thousand lights twinkle on at Le Château Frontenac and the UNESCO Old City of ingenuity. 400 years old and still very much alive, she was founded by Champlain then lost to the British; however, her heart remains devoted to the Francophile. Terrasse Dufferin, a magnificent 425-m-long boardwalk, offers views of the St. Lawrence River but Château Frontenac, an audaciously elegant structure, soars even higher with fabulous green-copper turrets. Don’t miss fresh croissants from Paillard boulangerie, the cobbled lanes of Le Quartier Petit-Champlain, or PlaceRoyale, the city’s original square where a statue of King Louis XIV watches over all.

Our exploration begins where French colonial history began in Québec City. Founded by Samuel de Champlain, crowned with the Chateau Frontenac, Québec City has reigned as a bastion of the French New World for more than 400 years. The adventures of Jacques Cartier call us deep into the scenic Saguenay River. Wild, rugged, and unfazed by time, we visit La Baie, celebrated as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Québec” and charming Baie-Comeau, which is the heart of a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Breathtaking landscapes lead us to Prince Edwards Island, famed for red-sand beaches and Anne of Green Gables. In Halifax, sample the eighty-plus wineries that have perfected viticulture in their 410-years of production. A 24-hour overnight aboard ship in New York City affords time to see the Statue of Liberty and sunset from the Empire State Building. Overnight Late departure
From New York, the city of steeples, to Québec City, “la vieille capitale”, North America is blessed with more than 400 years of European influence. New York City, originally founded by the Dutch as New Amsterdam and gifted the Statue of Liberty from France, now gives to the world the 9/11 Memorial & Museum that honors hope, resilience, and unity for all future generations. Applaud a Broadway Show; catch the view from the Top of the Rock; stroll the High Line; an overnight affords time to embrace it all. Fall foliage calls us to beautiful Boston, dubbed the Athens of America, that’s built upon almost 400 years of academia and culture. The city’s wharves whisper of tea parties, its libraries of tell revolutionary greats, and its JFK Presidential Library & Museum to recount America’s “Camelot”. In Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, we find roots of Celtic, Acadian, and African cultures along with the largest number of lighthouses of any Canadian province. Head to pretty Peggy’s Cove to see the most photographed lighthouse in the country then crack open a ruby lobster in the surrounding fishing village. For two days, we follow the “whale route” of the St. Lawrence River where 13 species of marine mammals feast of the plentiful krill. Enticing, enchanting, Québec City
calls with her 400-year-old Vieux-Québec (Old Town), an impeccable UNESCO site, that still ripples with life along meandering cobbled streets and the green-cooper turreted Chateau Frontenac. Extend you Québecois immersion in the City of Saints, Montréal, where the celebrated Golden Square Mile awaits with impeccable Victorian-era buildings bursting with French boutiques, Parisian-style bistros, magnificent McGill University, and the stately Montréal Museum of Fine Arts. Overnight Late
When summer leaves turn crimson and gold, there’s no better place to be than the colourful coves of Canada and New England. The wonder begins in Québec City where charming UNESCO Parisian boutiques and bistro-lined cobbled streets in the quaint Old Town. Catch your breath in Gaspe and Nova Scotia, where we yearn to explore pine forests, rocky promontories, and pristine beauty so hard to encounter in the modern world.
Feel the sea air and breathe a new season in your lungs. Portland promises more off-the-grid, small town charm where pints and flights are enjoyed along historic avenues.
An overnight in New York City allows time to explore a behemoth of culture and creativity from Broadway to The Met to fashionable 5th Avenue. An ocean state of mind takes us to Florida’s Space Coast to find out-of-bounds experiences at Kennedy Space Center and Daytona International Speedway then gentle tides lead us to Miami where blindingly white beaches are matched only by the city’s blazing hot nightlife.

Nudging north into Atlantic Canada, our pauses are peppered with historic, small-town charm. You passage along craggy coastlines to Havre-Saint-Pierre and the Mingan Archipelago, where puffins and sea-sculpted limestone monoliths scatter across a string of 2,000 islets and islands. Forging into the Gulf of St Lawrence to the Gaspé peninsula we seek bald eagles and black bears in the boreal forests until we reach picturesque Québec City, home to the UNESCO-protected old quarter yet alive with contemporary culture and cuisine.
OUR CARIBBEAN & CENTRAL AMERICA JOURNEYS
THE CARIBBEAN
The beauty of the Caribbean is without doubt its crystalline waters – and there’s no better way to explore and enjoy them. Our ships weave a way through the more than 700 islets and islands, sometimes for months at a time.
DELIGHTING IN THE SEDUCTIVE WARMTH OF THIS TROPICAL PARADISE
We follow the sea turtle’s lead and keep the pace languid, our days sprinkled with snorkelling through caves and amidst underwater kingdoms of kaleidoscopic coral and fish.
On shore, island life is just as colourful. From the unsurpassed French chic of the volcanic Saint Barthelemy to the character of Puerto Rico, the Caribbean’s vibe is joyous and free-spirited, offering escapism at its most uplifting.
BECOME IMMERSED IN ITS VIBRANT CULTURE AND CUISINE
Walk its sugar cane, coffee and cocoa farmland, and then just drop out beneath its swaying coconut palms.
Green jungled hills and cloud-shrouded mountains offer the most majestic of backdrops, whilst the orchid-filled primordial rainforests are rich in wildlife, from monkeys and mongoose to sloths and hundreds of species of songbird, including the most vivid-green hummingbirds.
Raise the heartbeat with a hike amidst local flora and SOARING silk cotton trees – or lower it, FLOATING in the SHALLOWS of a white sandy beach.

OUR INAUGURAL CARIBBEAN JOURNEY SAN JUAN GUSTAVIA BASSETERRE SAMANÁ OCEAN CAY MIAMI
BRITISH ISLES, CREOLE IDYLLS & MIAMI MAGIC
We call on islands that are the bywords for high-society escapism. Our first elixir of ease, St. Barths, is one part Swedish, two parts French and three shots of sunset-to-sunrise glamour.
Yachts gleam in the harbour, boutiques sell Parisian fancies, and bonafide barefoot bars serve off-the-charts tranquility.
With our head full of dreams, we call on St. Kitts, an island of wonders where we can ascend through a virgin rain forest to summit Mount Liamuiga and gaze down upon her dormant crater.
More emerald peaks and placid shores continue on to the Dominican Republic with four of the five highest peaks in the Caribbean, lush jungles carved by rivers and waterfalls. Shades of aquamarine, amethyst turning translucent opal, the colours of the sky, sea and sandy cays all are seemingly inseparable.
This is the wonder of Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, our private island paradise that ecologically and geographically achieves the impossible dream of being gloriously secluded on a paradisiacal island.
In the spirit of you-never-regret-an-indulgence, we call seductive islands adorned with alluring landscapes. Bathed in sun from day one with ten glorious nights aboard EXPLORA I, where everything sizzles a bit more. The pageantry of beach and city play out for us in Miami, a seaside sensation that lives more like a small global country. No passports are required in the last bolt hole of America as we glide into Key West, known as the Conch Republic. The meeting point of excitement and elegance finds us in Virgin Gorda where we enter a riot of dreamlike landscapes too vivid for words. Saint Barthélemy and Guadeloupe woo with French swagger and yacht-set good looks whilst tropical temptations take us to Antigua and St. Lucia where we can actually drive into a volcano! We end our reverie in Barbados with the high-tea reputation of being more British than the British!

This journey fully displays Mother Nature’s tour de force of beauty above and below the Caribbean Sea’s surface. With a lovely enticement of ease, we begin in Barbados, an island of wonders: flying fish, green monkeys, subterranean waterfalls, and towering banyan trees with shaggy aerial roots that inspired the island’s Portuguese name, the “bearded ones.” The lure of geography blesses us on Sunday Island, formally baptised Dominica, where sperm whales swim her waters all year and primordial rainforests are thick with a profusion of rainbows in a swirling cloud of mist. Surround yourself in cerulean blue, tranquility and sky on Bonaire, considered the Caribbean’s shore-diving capital and the birthplace of windsurfing.
Following a westerly breeze, we find Willemstad, a UNESCO jewel, with brightly coloured Dutch-gabled buildings that look like a tropical Amsterdam. With 26 hours in the Dutch West Indies port, we can take our time exploring this semi-arid island.
EXPLORA
DISCOVERING THE SAINTED ISLANDS OF THE CARIBBEAN
Rugged and majestic, born of volcanic fire yet matured in barefoot elegance, we call on small harbors and private islands that all belong to the Caribbean but live spiritually in a state of mind. In a theatrical scene of grandeur, we call on Castries, a breathtakingly exotic gateway to St. Lucia. So enamored were the French and British that they savagely fought each other for her procession. You’ll see their ruins at Fort Rodney and Pigeon Island on her north shore. Grand Pitons to the south and the original French settlement, Soufriére . On the island of St. Kitts we feel the sigh of history settled over the ruins of Brimstone Hill — “the Gibraltar of the West Indies” — whist the landscape is abloom with fruits and flowers. Sailing though azure waters, we slip into St. John’s, a picturesque place of rich plantations, forts, and sugar-cane ruins, each romantically picturesque yet all tragically entwined with the practice of slavery. Today, however, we find landmarks of remembrance, colorful quays that await exploration, off-road adventures, and inflatable dinghy boats that zip to the best dive spots. With a mastery of mesmerism, we enjoy two days at sea; sitting in the calm of dawn on your private terrace, you discover how
the rhythms of your body slowly keep time to the gently lapping waves. As we slowly approach Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, coconut palms sway in the sun and more than 3 kilometers of beaches shimmer with the warmest welcome. Snorkel with blue angles and butterfly fish. Harness the wind with sails on a catamaran. Indulge in the spa with its waterside massage cabanas. Mi amore, we find even more to adore in Miami’s neighborhoods of Little Havana, Little Haiti, Little Dominica, and the shopping mecca of Bal Harbour.
DIAMOND BEACHES & SPARKLING PRIVATE IDYLLS
We set sail on our quest for blue-water bliss where nature demands our full attention. Birds in a bevy of colours. Trees laden with mangos and guava. Islands with gin-clear lagoons, quartz beaches and emerald mountains. Miami sets our expectations of enchantment before we set sail for the Grand Turk, boasting the world’s third longest barrier reef, to delight in diving amongst fish named for parrots, angels and damsels. Closer to heaven, we find the eden of Samaná and the virgin forest of El Valle with its gossamer waterfalls. Quiet coves and untamed wilderness await in Spanish Town on Virgin Gorda which is as pristine and plump as her name implies. Regal and under-the-radar, Deshaies distinguishes with golden Grande Anse beach and famed Pigeon Island. Without disturbing the balance of sea and life, we call upon Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, our private island outpost designed to provide enriching experiences in an environmentally and sustainable manner.

Next, we trade sugar plums for candied coconut snacks in Deshaies and St. John’s, both exquisitely blessed with crystalline sands and iridescent waters. Our New Year’s soiree will be a magical mixology of onboard celebrations that go beyond the calendar calculation of time and space. Anticipation builds as we call upon the eden-like enclaves of St. Kitts and Martinique, with rainbows of butterflies, giant tree ferns and vast botanical gardens. Have you ever seen such beauty? Tonight, a gala dinner, dancing, live music, midnight countdown and champagne toasts. The first day of 2024, you wake up to see the New Year across a warm and welcoming sea. Rested and renewed, we call on Samaná then sail into a horizon that astonishingly blurs the space between the infinite sky and sea to find a gentle rise of our contemporary private island, Ocean Cay Marine Reserve. From the sensational to the sublime, we end in Miami Beach, where blindingly white beaches, a blazing hot nightlife are the perfect beginning to a New Year in “The Magic City.”
THE MAGICAL REALISM OF MIAMI, SANTA MARTA & CARTAGENA
Blending subtropical glamour with captivating cosmopolitan scene, featuring the best of Miami all the way to the exotic Colombia. A seashore so far removed from the every day and yet so absolutely cosy and captivating. The towering peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains, tower over Santa Marta where the air sparkles like diamonds as it shimmers down upon the ancient city. Founded in 1525, she was the first Spanish settlement and historical site of the Lost City, an indigenous citadel that is some 650 years older than Peru’s Machu Picchu. Mysticism and realism turn your wanderlust into wandermust in Cartagena de India. Here, the city tells a story that few others can, beginning with Spanish colonisation, repeated attacks by the (original) pirates of the Caribbean, revolution, and the final resting place of world-acclaimed Nobel Peace writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez (considered the best Spanish-language writer since Cervantes). An overnight aboard EXPLORA allows time to explore Cartagena’s UNESCO fortified old city, where an exuberance for life overflows in a maze of cobbled streets that are full of wrought-iron balconies dripping with bougainvillea and history that thrives forever.
EXPLORA
UNESCO WONDERS OF COLOMBIA, PANAMA & THE CARIBBEAN
A tale of two cities, Cartagena is a seaside siren who is both heroic and handsome with a well-preserved 15th century fortress - a UNESCO marvel - that staved off plunderers with massive iron cannons that now, ironically, point toward her shining city of modern buildings. Magnificent marvels continue in Colón, home to the impressive Gatun Locks and Gatun Dam of Panama Canal as well as the UNESCO site of Fort St. Lorenzo, that once protected the Spanish Crown.
Wonders continue in Curaçao with its UNESCO site harbour that resembles a tropical Amsterdam. For the ultimate utopian experience, Bonaire and Martinique offer unmatched drama, from flocks of pink flamingos to cacti that grow to more than 9 metres tall and the looming cloud-shrouded crater of Mount Pelée. Our final UNESCO delight is Bridgetown Garrison, that has guarded the prosperous British outpost of Barbados since 1705. DATE DESTINATION ARR

ISLANDS OF GLOBAL SOPHISTICATION & NATURAL CHARM
The Caribbean is a tangled embrace of international sophistication and exotic natural charm. In no place is this allegory more evident than in San Juan, the shining star of the Caribbean.
The setting sun sears into your heart and horizon as we navigate towards Virgin Gorda, a wondrous island in the BVI, where everything is extraordinary. The fertile islands of St. Kitts & Nevis include the largest fortress ever built in the Western Caribbean whilst adjacent Nevis features the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton. Like a romantic point on the map, Antigua & Barbuda boast some of the most ravishing stretches of pinktinged coast.
Wonders never cease in Kingston with its iconic botanic garden, whose early propagators include Captain William Bligh, made famous from the Mutiny on the Bounty. Like the captivating swell of an ocean wave, the tempo of this journey builds to its grand finale in Barbados, an island of infinite wonders, that is an adored British outpost.

ISLANDS OF DESIRE
Glorious islands as far as the eye can see; idylls as popular as Martinique or undiscovered as Ocean Cay and as romanticised as St. Kitts. No island of consequence escapes our attention.
No harbour too remote for us to find. We sail from bustling Bridgetown to trace a volcanic arc of archipelagos and find Saint Pierre rising on the horizon like a vision.
Coquettishly French and charmingly Creole, you’ll warm to the same light that inspired Gauguin. Lush, dramatic, pristine, Basseterre beckons with rivers that thunder, hikes that climb into a volcanic caldera and mischievous vervent monkeys faintly tinted green.
As close to heaven as a beating heart will allow; Samaná draws us with her beauty and hopeful sightings of humpback whales.
A magical experience on an almost mythical island; Ocean Cay is exclusive, environmental sensitive, and luxuriously sustainable. Our private MSC Marine Reserve wraps you in the unprecedented reality of a true island paradise.

Embarkation/disembarkation ports
The Caribbean shines with stars; sparkling islands so provocative, so utterly charismatic, they become wellsprings for exploration. We find fathoms of freedom in blue-turningturquoise waters sailing from Miami to Key West; energetic, effervescent, Cuban-spiced destinations that sway with a palpable buzz. A fragrant cachet of florals and French baguettes. Waves of ivory-coloured sands. Virgin Gorda and Gustavia offer perfect days of power-lounging where the chic and sleek tan. Delve into Deshaies to explore rainforests, French ruins and filming sites of Death in Paradise. Bubbles of champagne and volcanic mud baths burst in the sun of Soufrière. Take a strenuous-but-worth-it hike up Gros Piton or watch clouds float across Petite Piton from Hummingbird Beach. 18-square kilometres of perfection, Bequia is that vintage postcard with sugary white beaches, swaying palms, and lobster shacks selling ‘free beer tomorrow’. CENTRAL AMERICA TO CENTRE STAGE IN LOS ANGELES
Everything on this Journey moves at the speed of desire: remote coasts and romantic resorts, chic cities and cloud forests. We start where dreamers and builders dug a short-cut from sea to shining sea in Panama City then dive into one of the most biologically intense places on the planet, Costa Rica. Here 4% of the world’s biodiversity finds sloths and monkeys in Manuel Antonio National Park and an otherworldly Monteverde to discover birds, trees, orchids, and plants that cannot be found anywhere else on earth! We join sunbathers and surfers in San Juan del Sur, then search for Mayan roots in Puerto Quetzal. With a sky and sea that are mostly flawlessly blue, the Mexican Rivera calls us to Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. But perhaps nothing can prepare you for arriving in San Diego and Los Angeles, both cinematic cities where culture meets the coast.
FROM SURFY SOCAL TO COSTA RICA’S CLOUD FORESTS
LOS ANGELES TO PANAMA CITY 27 AUGUST – 10 SEPTEMBER 2024
The tone turns tropical as we leave glitter-glam Los Angeles and SoCal’s surfy beach bliss behind us and set our senses on Latin America. Waters slant Caribbean-esque as we voyage Baja California to Cabo San Lucas and slip under the surface to coral reefs or sportfish for marlin. Crossing the Gulf of California, Mexico might mean Mezcal in a shady Mazatlan plaza or a cobbled street stroll amid beautiful colonial buildings and rainbow-painted houses before a climb to one of the world’s highest operating lighthouses. Living the Pura Vida in abundantly biodiverse Caldera, Puntarenas and Quepos could mean forging inland to climb the cloud-shrouded Arenal Volcano or tiptoeing through the extraordinary Eden of Manuel Antonio National Park with its iconic whale-tale-shaped peninsula. Arriving in Panama City, we feel the thrill of eco-adventure meld with a metropolitan buzz.

A JOURNEY OF PIRATES, PARADISE JUNGLES, AND KALEIDOSCOPIC CORAL CAYS
Sexy metropolis intermingles with sultry jungle as we set out from high energy Panama City and allow its iconic ocean-toocean canal to carry us from the Pacific to the Caribbean. Traversing one of the world’s finest man-made wonders, we ply the spidery tributaries of Gatun Lake and forge into Chagres National Park, passing dramatic dams, spillways, and showering waterfalls in search of elusive wild cats and soul-renewing salutations with indigenous Embrera Indians.
Pirate battles and colonial ruins punctuate the port town of Porto Lemon, our gateway to Costa Rica’s eco-paradise, where howler and capuchin monkeys swing through a verdant cloud forest alive with birdsong and blue morpho butterflies. Our jungle chapter comes to a close in colourful Key West, the last in the string of laid-back, coral reefed cays, before the beautiful waters and our private-island-escape of the Bahamas beckon. Only magnetic Miami, where distinguished art deco meets design and contemporary-art scene cool, can soften this return to reality.

OUR PACIFIC COAST & HAWAI’I JOURNEYS
PACIFIC COAST & HAWAI’I
Hawai’i feels at once remote and tantalisingly exotic. We celebrate Polynesian heritage, culture and the islanders’ proud identity as we wear the lei and perform the hula or luau – deep-rooted native traditions underpinned by an appreciation of the land and its sacred energy.
THE
8 MAJOR ISLANDS IN THIS VOLCANIC ARCHIPELAGO PROFFER A SPELLBINDING TOPOGRAPHY
Encounter lush tropical forests, deep green valleys, cascading waterfalls, vertiginous cliffs (or palis in Hawai’i), endless sand dunes and some of the world’s most beautiful beaches –in places long, wide and golden, where the big Pacific rollers entice a laid-back surfing crowd; elsewhere shallow, quiet and ideal for snorkelling with turtles and parrotfish.
But also prepare for LUNAR -like BLACK - sand beaches, the Green Sand beach (coloured that way by the olivine crystals) and the ICONIC red royal poinciana trees.
Embrace the ADVENTURE and take a FAST boat to snorkel at Lanai or Molikini, surrounded by turtle and parrotfish.
In places Hawai’i remains an unspoiled paradise, resonating with Mark Twain’s description of Kailua-Kona as “the sleepiest, quietest, Sundayest looking place you can imagine”. In others it’s as buzzing and vibrant
as can be, where excellent line-caught mahi mahi or shrimp tacos from a food truck on the beach might be followed by white pineapples and fresh papaya and washed down with a Mai Tai.
OUR INAUGURAL HAWAIIAN JOURNEYS
An Inaugural Journey to an island filled with VOLCANOES,EPIC canyons and LIMITLESS beaches. Welcome to HAWAI’I.
HAWAI’I VOLCANOS & THE MAGIC OF KAI
Of all the ways to explore Hawai’i, this Journey is undoubtedly the most satisfying. An ocean escape where time loses its pull and allows you to set your internal clock to the pacific rhythm of the waves. When the sun is high, we see our first glimpse of Hawai’i, which is the proper name of the Big Island. You can almost see Pele, the volcano goddess and creator of the islands, sitting in her heaven in Hilo. An island of five volcanoes, deep canyons, plummeting. Take a cardio-hike through Volcano National Park. Walk to Akaka Falls. Or hop a helicopter to fly over the active Kilauea and Mauna Loa. Good tidings continue for us on Oahu, where Honolulu welcomes us with its wide Waikiki Beach, legendary Diamond Head, and impeccable shops along Kalakaua Avenue.

“NO KA ‘OI” OF HAWAI’I
From the creative firmament of Oahu to the raw landscapes of Maui and Kauai, this journey is a mixology of mysteries and Mai Tai cocktails served with chilled days at sea. Explore Oahu’s epic North Shore at Waimea Bay Beach Park where the biggest, most historic surfs break offshore and crash in spectacular fashion. The island of Maui leaps from the sea in an epic display of incomparable harmonies. This “valley isle” features 17 sub-climate zones ranging from tropical forest to desert.
Venture atop Haleakalā, the world’s largest dormant volcano or forest-bathe in the Eden-like utopia of Hana. Tee off at the world-class Wailea Golf Club or take a fast boat to the Molokini caldera to snorkel inside its sunken crater.
As glamorous as a movie set, Kauai is perhaps the most picturesque island. From the dramatic 1,200 m high (4,000 ft) Na Pali Coast State Park to 1,090 m deep (3,600 ft) Waimea Canyon, a geological masterpiece that is alien on such a lush place. Kauai is a natural beauty that will leave you speechless. Hawai’i, “No Ka ‘Oi,” truly is the best.
SYBARITIC CITIES & PACIFIC NORTHWEST COVES
From sybaritic cities and idyllic shores, we journey where Hollywood film crews regularly shoot movies. While Los Angeles may have risen on the back of the film industry, today it is a mecca for big dreamers that are the metronomes who set time to the rhythm of life. The “red carpet” treatment continues in San Francisco, a shimmering city by the bay, where you can hike a coastal path with tech billionaires or stroll the Golden Gate Park to arrive at Haight-Ashbury, the birthplace of counterculture in the 1960s. An overnight allows time to venture to Napa Valley and Sonoma, the laid-back “Bordeaux of America”.
Astoria welcomes with cosy vibes where lush forests set the perfect backdrop for small-town America. When it comes to charm, British Columbia’s Victoria is reigning queen whilst Vancouver boasts an amazing juxtaposition between urban oasis and serene wilderness that stretches from seascape to mountains.
CALIFORNIA COOL
Vancouver – the cool and cosmopolitan beating heart of British Columbia – is cradled on all sides by some of Canada’s most captivating wilderness. Float in from the wild and remote outdoors, leaving behind the orcas and grizzlies, the skeet shooting and fly fishing, and take a foodie foray to Granville Island for the best fork-to-table fare and a perimeter seawall stroll around must-see Stanley Park.
Sailing south we trace the contours of the North Pacific coastline, passaging the less-explored landscapes of Oregon and getting lost in old forests and rugged national parks, before giving in to the irresistible tug of the Golden State. Our California dreamin’ begins as we pass the soaring burnt sienna towers of the Golden Gate Bridge and soak up the glories of San Francisco. Tracing Big Sur along the wavecrashed shoreline we arrive in ever-seductive, sun kissed LA.

OUR INAUGURAL ALASKA JOURNEY
Sail where mountains have no names, paved roads are few, and vast WILDERNESSES are gateways BEYOND the knowable REALM.
Sail where mountains have no names, roads are few, and vast wildernesses are gateways beyond the imaginable. Remote Wrangell is a rarely seen gem that is nestled deep within a maze of 1,100 islands. History and mysteries loom large here: centuries-old petroglyphs; tales of the gun-slinger Wyatt Earp; and jet boats that fly up the Stikine River to LeConte and Shakes Glaciers. Wonderful, stunning. We step lightly in Sitka and discover where even more wild things are: the Fortress of Bears, Alaska Raptor Centre, and waters teeming with halibut fish that are amongst the biggest in the world.
We follow the flow of massive glacier action to magnificent Misty Fjord, a seldom-seen American national treasure with awe-inspiring topography. Sheer walls of granite plunge over 3,000 feet and lush forests of hemlock cling to snow-capped peaks of rugged grandeur.

Embrace the magic of sailing into the unfamiliar; experience a shift in perspective when encountering what is wild and completely new. With a singular focus to ply northerly climes, we witness the deepest contours of the “whale highway” — from Ketchikan to Juneau — to marvel at three of Alaska’s hallmarks: Misty Fjord and the glaciers of Hubbard and Mendenhall. All the senses are arrested in Icy Strait Point at Hoonah, where wildlife outnumbers people. Beyond belief, we gather in awe to watch Hubbard Glacier shoulder its way to Disenchantment Bay.
A site that never disappoints is Valdez. You’ll need to pinch yourself to ensure you’re not dreaming, especially in Juneau where Mendenhall Glacier and snowy peaks push skywards. Wild adventures continue in Sitka with its Russian history and Fortress of Bears. We turn to follow whale’s moving southward and return to British Columbia and explore Victoria and Vancouver.
Soul. Stirring. Sailing into the mystic; exploring the full breadth of the Inside Passage; hugging coastlines sculpted by rivers of jagged ice; navigating islands scattered like jigsaw pieces across cobalt bays. Misty Fjord, Mendenhall Glacier, Tracy Arm Fjord — ephemeral landmarks that will burn into your consciousness as part of your life’s story. Breathe in the rarefied air of snow-capped mountains of Ketchikan and Juneau. Forge deeper into winding narrows to find a wilderness where bears outnumber people. Dolphins and otters provide escort into one of the world’s longest fjords where the mountains are higher, the vistas more dramatic, and the glaciers impossibly more gigantic. A crescendo of anticipation builds as we ply Misty Fjord and Tracy Arm Fjord; each a dizzying display of energy where waterfalls plummet; granite cliffs thrust skyward; and wildlife calls out in a symphony of sounds. OUR MEDITERRANEAN JOURNEYS
“The sea was sapphire coloured, and the sky burned like a heated opal through air. We hoisted sail; the wind was blowing fair.” So wrote Oscar Wilde as he sailed for Greece and its islands, where every cove, olive grove and flower-strewn mountaintop captured his imagination.
We endeavour to do the same on our explorations of the Mediterranean, combining the beguiling glamour of French Riviera and the Côte d’Azure with island hopping from Sardinia, Ibiza and Santorini to Captain Corelli’s Kefalonia.
Step in awe amidst their ancient ruins and savour the spell cast by Europe’s wealth of great art and glorious architecture. Visits ashore may range from a quiet caffè latte in a shaded piazza corner to a cocktail.
Back on board we channel the people of the Mediterranean, who have long mastered the art of living well.
SUN drenched days and HAZY siestas segue into unhurried evenings with dinner in the WARM breeze– on deck or on land at local trattorias and the Med’s most storied WATERFRONT restaurants.

A MODERN ODYSSEY AROUND THE GREEK ISLES
From the heart of Ancient Greece, this is a journey into the origins of empires. After basking in the wonders of Athens, powdery beaches more lovely than Aphrodite herself herald our arrival in Paphos, where elaborate mosaics in crumbling UNESCO villas chronicle tales of mythological beasts and heroes.
Delve deeper in Kuşadası, gateway to the ancient city of Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis, one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Nose a glass of chilled Assyrtiko as you gaze upon the blue-domed buildings of Santorini, whose cavernous caldera is fringed with black lava beaches, before feasting on olives and figs among the castle-speckled hillsides of Kalamata. Listen hard and you can almost hear the melody of Captain Corelli’s mandolin drifting past the bougainvillaea-draped shopfronts of Fiskardo, the prettiest harbour in the Ionian Islands. The domes of St. Marks appear on the horizon as we arrive triumphantly in Venice: Queen of the Adriatic.
The mystical power of the sea flows through the heavenly blues of the Adriatic, Ionian, and Aegean. We begin in magical Venice, where an overnight stay entices with an enchanted evening meandering the Grand Canal to Harry’s Bar for a Bellini whilst gazing at Saint Mark’s Basilica, even more stunning in the moonlight.Croatia’s curvy coastline lures us to Zadar, Sibenik and Dubrovnick, a showstopper of splendour. World-class wine, brandy and olives encourage your embrace of fjaka, the Zen-like relaxation that permeates the dreamy Dalmatian coast. Then to mystical Monemvasia on the edge of the Peloponnese to Crete’s Agios Nikolaos as lively and cosmopolitan as it is peaceful and slow-paced. Transparent, turquoise waters guide us to Amorgos, an island so far off the beaten path few have witnessed its charms. At last, we sail through the archipelago to Athens where the artistic and intellectual meet under the gaze of history.
Embarkation/disembarkation ports
This journey begins in legendary Athens, queen of history and culture, then sails along the azure Aegean to Paros, where the total chill of island life soaks in with endless beach options and a rich social scene keeps the little villages buzzy. Enjoy a glorious day of sailing to Sicily where glistening white sands and lunar-like landscapes cradle a rich collection of art and architectural treasures. Sail through the Maltese archipelago to Gozo where a sense of peace and Zen prevails. Discover UNESCO-designated temples, some older than the pyramids of Egypt, nestled into red sand beaches. The magnificent landscape of Trapani is home to world-renown salt pans created in harmony with sea, sun, and time. Magnetic island vibes entice you to Ibiza to bask in bronzed beauties whilst a coveted overnight lets you cavort in clubs with global A-listers. Both the sensational and serenity were achieved.
A PEERLESS PERUSAL OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA
Memories of Barcelona’s youthful energy, Catalan traditions, squid-ink paellas and Gaudi, Picasso and Miró masterpieces fade as we thread the Strait of Gibraltar, sights set on Cadiz. Overnight in this sun-drenched Spanish siren to wander the sinuous streets and climb to the cathedral for views of Europe’s oldest city before journeying the short distance to Seville, with its staggeringly pretty Plaza de España and Venetian-style bridges, and Jerez, for flamboyant flamenco, fine sherry and fried-fish tapas from the freidurías. We sail past the Algarve’s soaring ochre cliffs to Portugal’s wilder west coast and Lisbon, the mighty Targus, our waterway leading to the city’s seven hilltops and storied wine country. Hugging the Costa del Sol, Malaga rises like a vision.
On our springboard to Andalusia, we might explore Granada and the Moorish Alhambra palace, Cordoba’s MosqueCathedral and Roman Bridge, or Marbella’s starry marina in the shadow of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.
SOUTHERN IBERIA’S
Lisbon, ablaze as the sun sets over the city’s seven hilltops, is a lively nexus of tradition and modernity, a food and design lover’s paradise saturated in colour by the kaleidoscopic azulejos on every façade. Sailing south we linger the length of the Algarve, with its raw beauty and sun-warmed, amber cliffs, stopping at Portimao for chicken piri-piri and to explore the Benagil sea caves or less-travelled green interior of the Serra de Monchique, clothed in carob trees.
Saluting the Rock of Gibraltar, one of the Pillars of Hercules, sentinels of the Strait between Europe and Africa, we voyage east to Granada, where within the pinky-red walls of the Moorish Alhambra lie exquisite fountains, filigree walls and collonaded courtyards. Spanish charm continues in Murcia on the Costa Calida – the warm coast, forever bathed in sunshine – where we find festivals, fiestas and fine food.
The eternal city is our swansong: a spell cast by the Colosseum or Vatican City until an icy Aperol in this most vibrant of capitals catapults us back to earth.
A JOURNEY TO THE AZZURRA ADRIATICA
“Bookending an adventure with Rome and Venice is surely enough to capture the imagination, yet this seductive Adriatic sailing signals untold enchantments in between. We plunge into Puglia, the newly beguiling heel of Italy’s boot, to find Lecce’s baroque churches and palazzos, the Trulli rising in terraces in UNESCO protected Alberobello, the stunning seascape in Salento, and food, oh such glorious food.
Across to the Dalmatian Coast, where glittering Hvar,Croatia’s Lavender Island, is the Saint Tropez of this east Riviera. A cobblestone haven of stylish boutiques, bars and tavernas. Homespun charm comes on Rab, one of a clutch of islands in Kvarner Bay known for their beautiful clear water and lunar landscapes stripped bare by the bora. Ravenna means dazzling mosaics and Dante’s mausoleum, but also seek the historic food market for Italian delicacies, eaten whilst wandering the shady plazas before drifting into la Serenissima’s lagoon at sunrise.

JOURNEY TO LA SERENISSIMA AND STORIED ISLANDS
La Serenissima – this floating city of breathtaking basilicas, intricate stone bridges, and every hidden Renaissance gem – never ceases to stop us in our tracks. Bringing us back to earth, we coast along the Kornati archipelago, passing a spectacular string of craggy reefs and islets scattered like pearls between Zadar and Sibenik. In Dubrovnik, the dramatic fortress walls belie an ancient city of lemon and orange-scented gardens, palaces, fountains and churches.
“The sea was sapphire coloured, and the sky burned like a heated opal through air. We hoisted sail; the wind was blowing fair”. We channel Oscar Wilde as we sail for Greece and her islands, where every cove and olive grove captured his imagination. We explore the Ionian Island of Corfu, moving on to the Cycladean Mykonos and lesser-known Amorgos. It’s tempting to stay awhile, but Athens and its many treasures awaits.

The setting sun paints the sky lavender in Haifa, where the golden-domed Shrine of the Bab and its fabled Hanging Gardens transform the flanks of Mount Carmel into a modern Eden. Manmade marvels appear as we approach Port Said and squeeze through the Suez Canal, the arrow-straight conduit connecting the cool Mediterranean to the warm waters of the Red Sea. Landscapes rise along the Red Sea that conspire with human ingenuity to cradle some of the world’s most heart-pounding sites. Pharaohs and pyramids. Bedouins and the Burning Bush. The pink-rock sanctuary of Petra and red-stone tombs of Hegra.
Hold still and witness the exquisite light that warms both the bold and the understated treasures of Jeddah. Your adrenaline pumps as you stand face-to-face with the Avenue of Sphinx in Karnak. Search for a deeper meaning of life in Aqaba when you venture to Petra to stand shocked before the masonry of the Treasury. In Sharm-el-Sheikh, glaze upon the ground where God appeared to Moses. Soul. Stirring. AlUla will change everything you thought you knew of Saudi Arabia. Surrounded by a crown of mountains, this is a place to escape into innumerable realities of space that can never be forgotten.
Welcome to your reprieve from the 21st century with an exploration into the most enigmatic paragons of prophets, pharaohs and philosophers. Jump into Jeddah and search for Makkah, Medina, or its modernity, where a touch of the Riviera suns along its uber-chic corniche. Nothing is more memorable than witnessing the sun rise as you sail the Suez Canal, or ambling around Ain Sokhna where hot springs flow from Gebal Ataqa, monasteries are named for Apostles, and the ancient Pyramids, Great Sphinx, and King Tutankhamun exhibit in Cairo await further afield. Step softly in historic Haifa to discover Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee. Your overnight encourages deeper exploration into the Judaean Desert to behold Bethlehem, Jerusalem’s Western Wall, and the warmest people. From the Alpha to the Omega, we fall in love in Paphos, birthplace of Aphrodite, then bow the fountainhead of civilisation in the amphitheatre of Athens.
OUR AFRICAN & INDIAN OCEAN JOURNEYS
AFRICA & INDIAN OCEAN
We sail the southern equatorial current in an epic swatch of discovery from the Seychelles to South Africa’s Cape of Good Hope, seeking sanctuary in the sounds of nature, from elephants gathering at a watering hole in the dark of night to humpbacks breaching the ocean surface.
THE
WOW-FACTOR WILDLIFE AND VISTAS HERE ARE TRULY OUR PLANET’S NE PLUS ULTRA, CURIOUS AND COMPELLING IN PLACES, CATCH-YOURBREATH SPECTACULAR IN OTHERS.
Delight in witnessing the world’s largest caldera teeming with game and flamboyances of flamingos, or our encounters with meerkats, lemurs, rare white rhinos and rarer still white lions. At sea, the adrenalin surge of spotting Great Whites in South Africa’s Shark Alley and whales in Hermanus, Mauritius and Madagascar, is soothed by superlative diving amid the soft coral of the Indian Ocean.
Africa’s SAVANNAHS are the yin to the Indian Ocean yang, leopards LANGUISHING in the SUN on the red sands of the Serengeti every second as precious as DIVING amid a manta ray migration in the Maldives.
A JOURNEY TO FAR-FLUNG ARCADIA IN THE INDIAN OCEAN
We clasp the colour of Mumbai, our senses awakened by its energy and drama, where UNESCO splendour rubs shoulders with a coastal metropolis teeming glamour, art and culinary Nirvana. With the iconic Gateway of India in our receding vista, we sail south to the fort town of Kochi, Queen of the Arabian Sea, and the beautiful backwaters of Kerala, the land of coconuts.
The pace slows as we slip through the Indian Ocean to Malé, where markets mirror its melting pot of cultures before we sail west to the Seychelles for toes in fine white sands.
Splitting our time between Mahe’s petite capital Victoria and its laid-back little sibling La Digue, we snorkel coral reefs and stroll verdant almond forests along vanilla-scented shores. Africa beckons with its lush island of Zanzibar before coming ashore in Mombasa where you may wish to safari in Kenya’s vast Maasai Mara, teaming with life.

A JOURNEY TO GREAT GAME RESERVES AND MARINE-FILLED SEAS
Mauritius and Madagascar: two bucket-list Indian Ocean islands in a single sailing. The exoticism kicks off in Mombasa as we delve into the hustle-bustle, old Arab town before journeying inland for Big Five game drives or sailing offshore and dipping beneath the surface to see dolphins and hawksbill turtles in Kisite’s marine reserve. Madagascar promises paradise beaches and rich rainforests teeming with lemurs (70 species!), the world’s greatest diversity of chameleons, and otherworldly topography – the south’s spiny thickets as strange as the Tsingy’s finger-like forests of stone punctured by bursts of bright green foliage. In Mauritius, we snorkel calm lagoons protected by the world’s third largest reef or scuba the Shark Basin, before saying Sante! on neighbouring Reunion, still fascinatingly French, island rum sitting alongside Sancerre, Gallic gastronomy bedfellow with creative Creole cuisine. Arriving in Durban at dawn, we switch island living for the grasslands and savannahs, where wild beauty and legendary safari lodges await.

A JOURNEY TO ZULU DRUMS AND PULSATING CITIES
From the quiet calm of game-filled savannahs to the spectacle of a lioness and her cubs lounging in trees, discover for yourself how Stanley and Livingston felt when they first gazed upon cavernous valleys and animals as far as the eye can see. Departing Durban, you nudge north to Mozambique and its 2,500km of coastline. Share turquoise waters with single-sail dhows and whale sharks, passing unspoiled islands and underwater kingdoms of coral enroute to the colonial capital Maputo and beguilingly remote Panene peninsula.
Richards Bay and Zululand brings extraordinary birdlife and silhouettes of graceful giraffes poised against a hugeSouth African sun. The spectacle of an elephant heard thundering across a wide savanna, Pumba’s white lions and the largest colony of African penguins all just beyond Port Elizabeth. We trace the Garden’s Route’s lush forests and lagoons to Plettenburg Bay’s white-sand beaches and buzzing bars, arriving in Cape Town, its V&A Waterfront, Robben Island, and glorious galleries, and storied winelands all within reach.

A JOURNEY TO AFRICA’S GARDENS OF EDEN
Embarkation/disembarkation ports
Cape Town is South Africa’s beating heart of cultural cool and your beguiling basecamp from where you wind across wine country to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek or the Cape of Good Hope, described by sea captain Sir Francis Drake as the fairest cape he saw in the whole circumference of the earth. Tracing the famed Garden Route along the coast between Mossel Bay and Port Elizabeth we alight to explore forested trails alive with birdsong, golden beaches and the hidden network of Precambrian Cango Caves.
Durban’s Garden Province holds promise for the majestic Big Five, Karen Blixen’s words echoing in our ears – “There is something about safari life that makes you bubble over with heartfelt gratitude for being alive” – the Kruger being one of Africa’s best places to see wildlife. Onwards to Mozambique’s white-sand beaches and walls of coral, Zanzibar’s Spice Island and Mombasa, our gateway to Kenya’s majestic Masai Mara.

A JOURNEY TO WONDROUS WILDLIFE AND COASTAL CULTURES
Embarkation/disembarkation ports
Exhilaration twines with relaxation in this exploration of cultures and cuisine ensconced in tropical paradise heaving with wildlife. An overnight in shimmering Mombasa allows a safari one day, and another to soak up the sun, dive to breath-taking coral reefs, and be charms of the famously friendly Swahili culture. Cast away to tiny La Dique, possibly the most beautiful island in the Seychelles where fantastical, blush-pink granite boulders dot the beaches. On Mahé, learn to captain a catamaran or venture into a lush rainforest. Our overnight allows time to discover charming villages, sample freshly picked fruits from little roadside tables, swim, snorkel and sip spiced rum. In Malalah, the UNESCO-celebrated Land of Frankincense, ramble along mountain passes fringed with the famous trees where goats and gazelle graze. A thriving wall of coral connects us to UNESCO-designated, ancient Jeddah with its distinctive red balconies, a major trade hub and gateway for pilgrims to Makkah (Mecca). Vital today as Saudi Arabia’s buzzy art capital.

DESTINATION EXPERIENCES
DESTINATION EXPERIENCES
Explora Journeys will offer an array of curated pursuits and memorable experiences that perfectly complement our ocean journeys.
Here is just a taster of what our guests can look forward to.
BEYOND BOUNDARIES
Soul-stirring experiences that touch the impossible, from the thrill of supersonic speed to the deepest fathoms of ocean trenches.
There is something WITHIN all of us that seeks to touch the IMPOSSIBLE ; to REACH out and FULFIL a transcendent need that resonates DEEP within our being.
Our Beyond Boundaries experiences answer that call where opportunities into the unchartered promise profound and personal enrichment.
Whether you seek the thrill of supersonic speed, the silence of polar mountain peaks, the deepest fathoms of ocean trenches, the sense of awe from meeting world-leading intellects and artisans.
THESE EXPERIENCES ARE MORE THAN ONE-OFF WONDERMENTS
They are soul-stirring achievements that will forever influence your perspective of the world and your role within it.
The only remaining question is how far do you dare to go to close the distance between your dreams and reality?
ONE OF THE BEYOND BOUNDARIES EXPERIENCES TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
Private pampering on a remote rocky island Göteborg, Sweden
THE SENSE OF ADVENTURE WASHES OVER YOU
The exclusive rental of Hamneskär Island is one of the most desirable places to visit in all of Scandinavia. A rugged paradise off the west coast of Sweden that’s reachable by private helicopter and RIB boats for your intimate party of two. Wild sea air, chilled champagne, just-shucked oysters,
and dramatic stories of the island’s history fuel your sense of adventure. Enjoy back-to-nature pursuits, a gastronomic table of never-fresher seafood then unplug with a relaxing message in the lighthouse. The ultimate escape for those who wish to experience the luxury of true isolation.
TAILORED EXPERIENCES
The travel equivalent of haute couture, our Tailored Experiences are tailor-made for those who seek truly customised arrangements that are both personal and without compromise.
We are pleased to curate
for
that can be as off-the-beaten-path or utterly indulgent as you wish. Whether yours is an intimate group of two or a larger gathering of family and friends, we can help you adapt a featured destination experience or totally tailor an arrangement that delivers exactly where and what you prefer.

ONE OF THE TAILORED EXPERIENCES TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
Adrift on your dream of a private yacht
TROPICAL TIDES CARRY YOU ALONGSIDE BREATH-TAKING SHORES
Anchor off deserted islands where yours are the only footprints, or dive into crystal clear lagoons known only to the most seasoned sailors. When your dream of distant shores includes a private boat or yacht tour, Explora Journeys can connect you with a captain and crew
able to deliver all your desires. From plush towels and snorkel gear, chef-driven meals, and perfectly chilled champagne with corks popped precisely at sunset, we can help you navigate an adventure for just with you, or with others if you prefer.
ENCHANTING EXPLORATIONS
Meticulously designed to usher in next-level exclusivity for small, agile groups seeking peerless experiences, and to witness moments that are off limits to most.
WHAT TO EXPECT
BOUNDLESS DISCOVERIES
ONE OF THE BOUNDLESS DISCOVERIES EXPERIENCES TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
A mindful walk in the woods
THE ULTIMATE EXPLORATION IS TO EXPERIENCE A NEW DESTINATION IN ITS PUREST AND MOST NATURAL FORM
With a nod to the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing”, we have prepared a collection of experiences designed to enhance your health with intimate connections to the natural world. From the most far-flung
forests to misty mountains to peaceful flowerfilled fields, our eco-therapy experiences promise to support every aspect of your well-being.
IN-COUNTRY IMMERSIONS
Traversing beyond the bounds of the ocean, we take you deeper into the culture of the countries we visit with immersive all-inclusive excursions.
Designed as three-or more-day overland experiences, our In-Country Immersions are all-inclusive and available to intimately sized groups starting before or after your sailing.
All you have to do is let go and let us immerse you in the extraordinary that lies further afield.
IN-COUNTRY IMMERSION EXPERIENCES TO LOOK FORWARD:
A polar ice cap, musk ox and luxury camping Greenland
CAMPING ON THE WORLD’S LARGEST POLAR ICE
No matter how well travelled you are, it’s difficult to wrap your mind around the experience of camping on the world’s largest polar ice cap, where vibrant blue ice colours are surreal. Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of Greenland’s hinterland. Two-thirds of Greenland lies above the Arctic Circle and for five glorious days you will too. Under 24 hours of sunlight, we ice climb on glaciers, hop
in helicopters to view vast vistas of white at the edge of the ice cap, climb into snow trucks in search of herds of shaggy musk ox grazing on the tundra, and camp outside a remote radar station in off-grid, eco-luxury lodging tents that are environmentally light-on-the-ice yet wonderfully warm and welcoming. Immense landscapes experienced in the most intimate terms.

Our team has proudly worked with our cruise line partners for over 15 years. We understand their products as well as they do, and our close relationship ensures we receive access to the very best offers and products available.
Panache Cruises is a member of The Travel Network Group. TTNG is one of the largest independent travel companies in Europe and provides Panache Cruises with unmatched purchasing power as well as the most competitive rates for airlines, hotels and land-based tours.
For complete peace of mind, we are members of the Travel Trust Association (TTA) and fully comply with their code of conduct.
Established in 1993, the TTA has over 600 travel agents and tour operator members. The TTA provides us with a trust account where all customer monies are paid into until they are required to pay for your cruise holiday. In the unlikely event of our insolvency any monies paid will be refunded in full
Panache is an ATOL bonded travel company, which means that in the unlikely event of our insolvency you can continue to enjoy your cruise holiday if you have already departed, or you have the option to be fully refunded if you have yet to travel. ATOL protection also extends to the collapse of an airline.
Finally, we only partner with cruise lines that are ABTA and ATOL protected which means that when you book with Panache Cruises your money could not be in safer hands.
