Day 2. Régua, Lamego, Pinhão.
As you cruise this morning, take part in a Portuguese language lesson, during which you’ll learn some essential phrases of this beautiful language. Disembark your ship in Régua and visit the picturesque village of Lamego
and the elaborately decorated baroque cathedral. While in Lamego, why not try one of the town’s famous specialties, Bola de Lamego, a smoked ham roll. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner of traditional dishes and dessert at a picturesque local quinta, a Portuguese winery.
Day 3. Vega de Terrón, Castelo Rodrigo.
Today, cruise across the border into Vega de Terrón in Spain. Enjoy some time at leisure before joining an excursion to Castelo Rodrigo. This tiny village sits atop a hill overlooking both Spain and Portugal, and features a number of well-preserved ruins, an impressive castle and a magnificent stone statue of Santiago Matamoros.
Day 4. Salamanca, Barca d’Alva.
Today board a coach and set off for the glorious Spanish city of Salamanca. This gorgeous city boasts sunlit sandstone buildings along with a majestic city square. In Serbia’s capital, join a guided tour through the city. Visit a local family’s village, taking a tour of their home and barn to meet the resident farm animals. Stroll through the family’s fruit orchards to learn about the brewing process of ‘slivovitz’. This plum brandy is the national drink of choice.
Day 6. Iron Gates.

Day 6. Cologne, Brühl.
Arrive in Cologne and travel south to the Rhineland town of Brühl. Visit the grand 18th-century castle of Augustusburg. Built by archbishop Clemens August, this is one of the region’s

Go ashore to see Cai Be’s French Gothic Cathedral and visit to a local rice paper manufacturer. Continue on to Sa Dec for a guided tour. Here, you’ll see the home of Huynh Thuy Le, once the lover of French writer Marguerite Duras, and visit a Cao Dai Temple.
Day 6. Tan Chau, Border Crossing.
Transfer to a small boat for a journey along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau, step ashore for a rickshaw tour and visit a local island. Spend the remainder of the day in comfort on board as your ship cruises to the Cambodian border.
Day 7. Phnom Penh.
Join an excursion to the sobering Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, on the site of the Khmer Rouge’s notorious Security Prison 21. Later in Phnom Penh,

Head to beautiful Krka National Park to explore its dramatic waterfalls. Take a walk along wooden jetties and bridges to admire the falls, flora and fauna. Today dock in the town of Šibenik, where you’ll disembark for a special experience. This evening, enjoy a Captain’s Farewell Dinner.
Day 15. Disembark Ship,
Depart Venice.
This morning after breakfast, disembark your ship for the final time and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Day 1. Arrive Athens, Embark Ship.

Day 3. Amorgos.
Visit a local olive oil press to learn about the production of this essential ingredient. Savour a tasting of the local produce and relish the unique flavour composition. Arrive in the beautiful island of Amorgos, known for its ancient ruins and quaint villages. Set out on a guided tour, followed by an Insider Experience. Your ship will stay docked in port until late evening, so you may wish to disembark and enjoy dinner at your leisure at a local restaurant.
Day 4. Nisyros, Symi.
Today takes you to the volcanic island of Nisyros, where you will enjoy free time to explore. In the port of Mandraki, wander through its whitewashed streets and visit the cliffside monastery of Panagia Spilani or perhaps visit the archaeological museum. Alternatively, join an optional tour to the Polyvotis volcano. Later, continue to the island of Symi to discover an old-world glamour and neoclassical architecture. With the afternoon at leisure, you may wish to join an optional guided tour, including Gialos Harbour with its pastel shaded houses, ancient monastery and Customs House.
Day 5. Kuşadasi, Ephesus.
Drive to the nearby ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities of the Eastern Mediterranean. Immerse yourself in ancient Roman life and imagine the city’s former splendour. This morning you will dock in Kuşadasi, located on Türkiye’s Anatolian coast.
Day 6. Mykonos.
Land on the dazzling Greek isle of Mykonos, where you’ll have the day at leisure. Perhaps join a walking tour through the main town of Chora. Stroll through the maze of tiny lanes, take in the whitewashed buildings with iconic blue shutters. Admire the old port and famous windmills so often featured on postcards. This evening, you may wish to disembark and enjoy dinner at your leisure at a local restaurant.
Day 7. Milos.
Known for its most celebrated export, the iconic Venus de Milo, volcanic Milos is ringed with dramatic coastal landscapes of surreal rock formations. Disembark your ship and enjoy a tour of the island which includes Plaka, the beach of Sarakiniko and the small fishing village of Pollonia. With the afternoon at leisure, you may wish to relax at the picturesque beach of Paleochori. This evening, join your fellow travellers for a Captain’s Farewell Dinner.
Day 8. Disembark Ship, Depart Athens.

founded by Greek political exiles around the fifth century BC. You have a free day to explore at your leisure. Perhaps head out on an optional tour to visit the Neapolis Archaeological Park, the island of Ortigia, the Arethusa Spring and the Temple of Apollo. Later, enjoy a Gala Welcome Dinner.
Day 3. Crotone.
Discover Crotone in Calabria, boasting a spectacular coastline and a rich history dating back to 710BC. This morning, visit Santa Severina. Admire the idyllic town’s stunning cathedral built in the 13th century, with a spectacular circular baptistery from the Byzantine period. Explore Carafa Castle, a commanding Norman fortification in the hilltop town. Return to the ship for lunch on board. This afternoon, enjoy this historic location at your leisure.
Day 4. Otranto.
Dock in the port town of Otranto, where you’ll have the day at leisure to explore. Perhaps join an optional guided city tour, visiting the town’s Romanesque cathedral and the Castello Aragonese, a fortified castle. Alternatively, take an optional tour to historic Lecce, a beautiful baroque town filled with sandstone palaces and churches. Your ship will stay docked in port until late evening, so you may choose to savour dinner at your leisure at a local restaurant.
Day 5. Monopoli, Alberobello.
Today, you’ll visit Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage
site known for its trulli, which date back to the 15th17th centuries during the Kingdom of Naples. These unique structures were built without mortar by resourceful Puglian farmers. Facing heavy taxes, the farmers pulled out keystones to collapse roofs and dismantle walls so that the village appeared uninhabited to tax collectors. As you stroll among the trulli, observe their subtle differences as your guide shares knowledge on their architecture and historical context.
Day 6. Ancona.
Spend a relaxing morning on board as you sail to Ancona. On arrival, enjoy time at leisure to explore. Perhaps embark on one of the optional tours on offer, including a guided walking tour of Ancona or
a visit to nearby Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site renowned for its dazzling architecture.
Day 7. Ravenna.
Ravenna boasts eight UNESCO World Heritage-listed monuments. Set out on a guided tour and explore some of the impressive structures including the Basilica of San Vitale. Alternatively, you may wish to join an optional fullday tour, combining Ravenna with a visit to Bologna. Savour lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the historic Piazza Maggiore.
