Thank you for all the donations. The money raised will be used by the Student Council to purchased items for the school playgrounds.

On Monday 15th May a number of parents attended a parent workshop to explore digital citizenship. It was a great opportunity to share how the school is supporting students growth in knowledge, skills and understanding of a very important aspect of modern life. Technology is ubiquitous, therefore supporting students in becoming knowledgeable and skillful users of technology is an important job for both parents and schools.

Guest speaker, Mr. Alexander shared his insight into digital safety and hygiene and the importance of parents setting up robust protective passwords and digital environments at home.

Mr. Simon discussed the schools use of the Common Sense Education curriculum throughout the year. Through the program students explore the following 6 themes: Media Balance; Online Privacy; Digital Footprint; Communication; Cyber Bullying; and News and Media Literacy. find his slideshow linked below by clicking the image on the right

M1 have been working hard to complete their podcasts these past two weeks. The students collaborated effectively in small groups to develop scripts and learned to use Audacity to record and edit their podcasts. Topics included: Chess, Football, Conspiracy Theories, The Willow Project and Monkey Safety.

The recording process.

After many weeks of effort the P7 students finished their unit on HTML and CSS coding. They coded websites about the IPC topic: Immigration. The students adapted to the challenge and created interesting websites that displays both their topic knowledge and coding skills.
