VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR PANAMA PANAMA VISA (https://www.panamalegalcenter.com/panama-visa/) is based on each applicant passport and is part of Panama immigration law. For example if you are from Eur USA, you do not need to get a visa to enter Panama but if you carry a passport from Cuba, you need to get a Panama Visa in order to visit Panama. Below we indicate di erent types of Panama visa requirements that is established by the Republic of Panama immigration authority.

TYPES OF VISA 1. Authorized Visa: The authorized visa is required for citizens of certain countries prior entering Panama. This visa authorization has to be obtained in respective country of origin (at the Pan Consulate of your country). You must meet all the visa requirements of the Panama Migration Authorities. If the authorized visa approved, the Panamanian Consulate will gra stamp so that the person is able to travel to Panama. The foreigner needs to specify whether it he/she is applying for a tourist visa (specify the duration you wish to stay) or an immigration visa; the Migration Authorities decide whether the visa will be granted or not and determine the duration of stay in Panama.

2. Stamped Visa: This visa does not require prior authorization from the Directorate of Migration. However, it must be requested from the Panamanian Consulate in the country of residence. It is tourist visa. The Consul determines the duration of stay granted to the foreigner and stamps the visa into the passport. Only then may the person enter Panama.

3. Tourist Card: Countries that may enter Panama with a tourist card do not need any visa. If you are a citizen of this category of countries all you need to do is purchase a tourist card for complete the required information and show it together with your passport when entering Panama. Herein lies the importance of migration classi cation made by the Ministry
