Pandolfo Alluminio has been operating in the aluminium extrusion sector since 1969, constantly upgrading its services and products throughout that time. In the case of the extrusion plant, this has meant the addition of anodizing and powder-coating systems, and of a modern machining shop equipped with state-of-the-art numerical control machining centres. At present, the company continues to pursue this same path, making investments aimed both at expanding the product range and improving the standard of its logistics services.
The company is based at premises near Padua (Italy), where the headquarters, the administrative offices and the sales and computer centre are located. The extrusion plant is located at Belluno (Italy). The surface treatment and machining facilities are housed at Feltre (Italy), around 5 km from the extrusion plant.
The manufacturing processes extrusion
The heart of the manufacturing process is extrusion, an operation employing four presses rated 1600 t, 2000 t, 2200 t and 3500 t installed in Belluno works and providing a total output capacity of 32000 tonnes per year. Profile sections of 0.2 to 20 kg/metre are extruded, in lengths up to 12 metres.
anodizing
Anodizing is done at the Feltre works, utilizing a modern system controlled entirely by software and providing an annual output capacity of 2 million square metres. A variety of surface finishing can be applied, including electrocolouring, on lengths of up to 7.2 metres maximum. Pandolfo Alluminio is a licensee of the European Qualanod quality label.
powder-coating
Also operating at Feltre is one vertically structured automatic powder-coating system, able to turn out 2.7 million m2 annually. The company offers a generous selection of standard and custom colours, available on extruded up to 7.2 metres in length. Pandolfo Alluminio is a licensee of the European Qualicoat quality label.

Also forming part of the Feltre works is an extensive machining department split into two areas, the one equipped with conventional machine tools, and the other with no less than 10 CNC machining centres.

For over 35 years, Pandolfo Alluminio has been gathering experience and expertise in the supply of extruded aluminium components to customer specification, for all mainstream applications. Pandolfo Alluminio technical staff routinely attend training programmes and refresher courses on technical, production, standardization and application-related topics pertinent to all sectors. The aim is to place the company’s know-how at the disposal of the customer, as a key element of input in the design of a well-engineered and competitive extruded aluminium component. Quality control procedures are conducted throughout the entire manufacturing process, and tailored to different end-use requirements. Just as important is selection and fabrication of the right packing for products, which will take account of the peculiarities associated with different types of use.
