San Pedro de Alcántara (St. Peter of Alcántara) is situated in the fertile plain of the same name, Vega de San Pedro Alcántara, a broad stretch of coastal lowland surrounded in a semicircle by rugged hills. It’s just 10 kilometres west from Marbella, a few minutes drive away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona.
