Greater Hazleton Concert Association Inc. brings a National Touring Company production of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol to the Hazleton Area High School stage on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Charles Dickens definitely wrote a classic novella. He surely never imagined that his story would have been interpreted in so many ways from theater stages to the big screen for over 150 years.

A powerful story of redemption A Christmas Carol has enchanted audiences the world over with its simple message of holiday joy. With script adaptation, direction, and a flawless performance as Scrooge, by award-winning 40 year theater veteran Scott H. Severance, this adaptation fills the stage with first class professional actors, lush costumes, stunning sets and puppetry, song and dance, a heavy dose of humor, and a timeless message. The music of 26 beloved traditional carols of the season is woven throughout this classic tale making A Christmas Carol the perfect way to begin your family holiday festivities.
