Collum's Column - Notes from the Publisher

As we enter into 2022, we would like to say “Thank You” to all our valued & loyal advertisers and readers. What we do would not be possible without you. Warmest thoughts and best wishes to everyone for A Happy & Safe New Year! May peace, love and good health follow you always! We are excited to announce that Panorama turns 40 this year and it’s also our 10th anniversary as owners of the publication. It has been our pleasure throughout the tenure serving the Greater Hazleton and surrounding areas with what we love to do! We have made a lot of changes along the way, and we continuously strive to do so for the betterment of the magazine. As a family owned business, we take pride in treating our advertisers as part of our Panorama Family! We are committed to keeping Panorama a highly valued and respected publication that builds a sense of community among local consumers. Throughout our 40th Year Anniversary, we will be announcing special promotions and giveaways. We want our readers and advertisers to celebrate with us so stay tuned for all the happenings this year. On another note… With the New Year here, there will be a lot of talk about everyone’s New Year’s resolutions. A New Year’s resolution is a decision to do or not do something, to accomplish a personal goal or break a habit. It comes at a time when people look back at the past year and make an effort to improve themselves as the New Year begins. Keep it simple and choose something that is doable for you! Remember that it takes work to keep a New Year’s resolution. Don’t worry if you slip up once or twice. If you stay committed to what you want to accomplish, you will be proud of yourself in the end. Each year I make New Year’s resolution about one thing or another. Usually it is about world peace or shedding a few unwanted pounds. That said, I am not a good prognosticator about the world in general and unfortunately, have not shed those unwanted pounds either! So in 2022, I will put the past year behind me and move forward in achieving my goals this year and I hope that you can do the same.
