MAD SCIENCE SPACE: TO THE MOON AND BEYOND!

MAD SCIENCE SECRET AGENT LAB

6- 12 yrs

6 - 12 yrs

In this camp children learn all about space. They explore the challenges of missions to the moon, explore space flight, life as an astronaut, and of course rockets! Each day children talk about the basics of space technology - from early flight to rockets, atmosphere of our planet and the planets in our solar system and record their findings in their journal. Children learn about Martian ice, planets, the sun and stars and other space phenomena. Students will build a model of Saturn and work on their space helmets. The last day of the camp they launch one rocket & build their own real one to take home.

Campers will use forensic science to track down an elusive thief. Campers are challenged to sort and sift through the data in an effort to solve the “crime” using a variety of forensic techniques. A visit to Cell City will reveal the inner workings of DNA while a trip down the Organ Trail will provide a Body Portrait!
