It’s always a great night to hang out on the patio at Lil Beaver Brewery. But on Thursday, May 6 folks were gathered there for more than some great craft beers. They were there for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign kickoff.

This year’s Strong Kids Campaign falls under the umbrellas of Connect Again; Thrive Again and Achieve Again. Initiatives including providing an additional 50 children who qualify for free and reduced lunch the opportunity to learn to swim at no cost; to provide a safe , sanitized and secure place for an additional 233 of our neighbors and to assist families in bridging the gaps created by COVID-19 in an additional 50 of the most vulnerable youth.
