Allure Allure is a building that tries to imitate to mimics the transition between the entry and exit of the Fort Pitt Tunnel. The action of going from an enclosed and restricted view to a breath-taking view. In which, at first glance you notice the courtyard and the multiple terraces that allows you to â&#x20AC;&#x153;see and been seenâ&#x20AC;? for both communities, the maker and the Strip District communities. The main objective of Allure to link the communities together and have that connection where they become one.

ESCAPE CHALCHIUHTLICUE “We have to know where we come from, to know where we are going,” Is what my project seeks to emphasize. What we seek is to keep moving forward towards new designs and ideas, using the past as reference and inspiration. The shape of my building resembles this idea as it goes further from the Hacienda, yet it seems as it is resting on top of the factories buildings making it looks as it relies on the Hacienda. The name sake of my building comes from the goddess “Chalchiuhtlicue”, her name means “She of the Jade Skirt”. She is known as the goddess of water, rivers, seas, streams and storms. It was one of the female figures more important linked to the liquid in the Mesoamerican Culture.

It was one of the female figures more important linked to the liquid in the Mesoamerican Culture. In the myth of the Five Suns, she lit to the world in the first Sun, dominating the fourth world. I got inspire by this myth, and applied in the fifth room, which would me illuminated by natural light. According to the calendar, she presides over the day 5 Serpent and 1 Reed. As the project consist of 5 baths and a sauna, each bath will have a mean-in according to that day in the calendar.

STADIUM DOSEL ARBOREO The objective of this project was to create a stadium that could blend in with the surrounding area and looks like it belongs there. For this project, I had the opportunity to design my own structural system for the roof of the stadium and the pavilion as well as creating a screen skin that would create a great shadow effect. The main inspiration for Stadium Dosel Arboreo is to preserve the nature of the park and create the same natural shape or essence and reflect it into the structural system.

Conexus The goal of Conexus is to create an inspiring, comfortable and peaceful environment for these mother with NAS babies. The double-height spaces and non-octagonal corridors create an open, flowing plan which breaks from the typical institutional atmosphere. The organic design allows patients and staff to participate in an engaging, yet efficient interactions, in spaces conducive to meaningful conversation. This environment of dialogue and communication, helps to ease the possible concerns of patients and their families. The curvilinear expanses glasses along the reception, hallways and group therapy rooms, offer patients and staff a complete view across a landscaped garden, which provides a sense of tranquility.

CINEMUS A MUSEUM OF CINEMATOGRAPHY The museum â&#x20AC;&#x153;Cinemusâ&#x20AC;? aims to extend the knowledge of the visitors in the area of cinematography, therefore, this building serves as both a Museum and Amphitheater. The design of this museum was inspired by the relation between reel with projection and film with a transition. My goal is to demonstrate the relation not just to the building but also with the site. The relation created between projection and reel is portrayed on the building, because of it allows the building to serve to the public as a theater. Because of the sloped site, I developed an exterior space that surrounds the building and creates a unique human experience. While passing through the exterior facade, one feels that transition from Williamson St., and down around the building into the amphitheater.
