PA P E R E M P I R E AU S T R A L I A STUDIO SNOWPUPPE - The original handmade origami light from The Netherlands since 2010 Studio Snowpuppe lights are the creation of architect Nellianna van den Baard and industrial designer Kenneth Veenenbos. Made from paper and wood, the lamps are made by hand in small batches. Using natural materials they try to design products that make the world a little more beautiful. Paper filters the cold light of an energy saving light bulb into a cosy lamp for your home or workspace, that shines a warm natural light. SUITABILITY Included in this catalogue is the range we sell as agents. We can arrange quotes on domestic lighting through to corporate fit outs. Snowpuppe paper is high quality ‘butterfly’ FSC certified paper, which lasts for years and years. They can be easily cleaned by either using a feather-duster, blowing dust off or by using a vacuum cleaner at low power. PROJECTS A selection of commercial fit outs are shown on the projects page where the colours & forms of Snowpuppe have been used to great effect. Other interior fit outs include Cafes, boardrooms & major hotels. The Good Hotel Amsterdam fitted the entire premises with Snowpuppe! Domestic use of Snowpuppe is best seen in dining, living & bedrooms. Running the length of a hallway, as bedside lights, to create interest in a study or as the centre piece over the dining table. The shade is easily replaced if time requires a new colour palette & the 3 metre cord set allows for an effective staggered cluster of lights. SHOWROOM Our Melbourne showroom is available by appointment or we can meet on site with samples of the range. Should the project be interstate we can arrange samples where appropriate. The Fine Print What is included? These lampshades are for use indoors & away from cooking areas & moisture. All of our models are delivered with a porcelain socket, textile cord of 3 metre length and user manual. Cords come in standard colours of white, grey, yellow or sand. All lights must ONLY be fitted with an energy-saving light bulb or LED light bulb Do not use standard light bulbs! Snowpuppe shades are safety tested approved with LED bulbs only.

Delivery conditions All wholesale orders must meet a min $500 per order*. Trade clients have no minimum order. All orders are drop shipped from the Netherlands to the client. (*Additional taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.)
Any claims must be made within 48 hours of the delivery being received. Installation We strongly recommend a certified electrician to install your light. The Lampshade is very easy to install. Just get it out of the box and slide it over your energy-saving light bulb. It will sit perfectly on top of the socket, thanks to the folds of the paper & the drawstring top.
