FUTURESCAPE AFRICA 2019
T
he 2019 FutureScape Africa event hosted on the 25th October was an overwhelming success, which was mainly due to the high quality of presentations,
brilliant new technologies on display, inclusive nature of the trade show and backing from incredible industry associations. The seminar programme catered for different built environment sectors and a strong percentage of key-decision makers attended the trade show as delegates. We hosted 627 delegates in total over the course of the day, which is a significant increase from 2018.
We have been receiving exceptional feedback from delegates and the level of engagement by all who attended was exceptional – from the opening of the doors, to the breakdown of stands and finally the after party!
We were absolutely blown away by the number of exhibitors, sponsors, delegates and superb seminar speakers at this year’s event and we are sure this acts as a keen indicator of where we are going with this incredible show.

It was wonderful to welcome a diverse group of professionals with the common theme being the future of the industry and the common goal being the progression of this industry. Delegates were encouraged to network and share ideas across a chock-full day of seminars, hosted by influential industry

leaders at the top of their game. A highlight was the handing out of certificates to our Faces of the Future Class of 2019 Winners and of course the many great give-aways we facilitated throughout the course of the day at the event. We also welcomed 127 delegates to a Cocktail and CanapĂŠ party after the event to cheers a day well spent!
We thank our brilliant stand judges & directors at dhk Architects, Derick Henstra & Guy Briggs for the seamless way they judged our exhibition stands on the day.

SPEAKERS Our seminar speakers addressed industry relevant topics across a broad spectrum of topics including; inclusive cities of the future, 21st Century Landscapes, challenging the design norm, the role of green space in urban settings,and even marketing for business owners. 2020 will see the exploration of other relevant topics and encourage new audience groups from sectors related to the built industry.
