Samui 5 stars resort and massage spa The Samui resort site is abandoned coconut field located on the mountain in the middle of Samui island. Although the site is located on the island, but didn’t have a view open to the sea because of the context of the surrounding forest area so the design concept is to create a view within the resort by taking characteristic of coconut forests used to provide the best view. The theme of resort is a Thai resort and massage spa , which offers peace and privacy to customers. Masterplan zoning divided into 6 part : Reception area , Club house , Massage spa forest , Group of villas , Group of challet and Suit.

Coconut trees and tropical plants were used to make an atmosphere of Thailand resort. For the 4 section above represents the atmosphere of each area which users can already receive an offering relaxation and tranquility of the surrounding Yangna and coconut forest . Club house and restaurant located on center of site for esier to serve everyone , while parts of the residential area is located inside the resort surrounded by a different space to create privacy and diversity as part of its area.

Renewal project of Tak riverfront at Golden beach along the Ping river, one of the main river in northen Thailand. The project take into consideration the change of water level and sand dune, which is caused by the effect of water flow direction. Tak The Riverfront Renewal project of Tak riverfront park which is the main attraction of the area. The park is developed to be the new city decresing pollution and have recreation area for community such as community plaza, sculpture park, great lawn, amphitheater and the famous Tak’s golden beach. This project is not only the riverfront recreation area , but also the ecological restoration and conservative areas that intends to provide knowledge to all user who came to riverfront and appreciate site’s natural phenomena about water’s dynamic.

The stage & amphitheatre pull user close to the water, as much as possible to feeling featured character of a site that is different from the other riverfront. Open green spaces were connected each other through linear path for pedestrian and multi-purpose function such as sport court or recreation area, that make spaces flow easier. The conservation is area that can store and delay stormwater create moisture to the soil and filter toxins before the water is flow down to main the Ping river.

Tako Pid Thong Eco - Mining Tako Pid Tong mine which is the abandoned mine at Rajburi is the new designs on special landscape characteristics of the site and landscapefeatures , which used to develop the site to be new ecology mining operation and forest restoration. The site is located on the slope , which abandoned for 15 years with toxic contamination in the soil. Therefore rehabilitation areas must start from the development of land that divided into 3 restoration phase before the development in different parts of the mine, has become a source of learning and community tourism.

Using of natural regeneration process in many ways such as Top soil preservation and management , Free water surface treatment , Phytoremediation , Planting native tree and Fuel crops can recovery site’s abundance and doesn’t create pollution affect to the site. This above overall method can be use in adapting to mine closure and rehabitation phase in the view of site reclamation. However in order to apply in huge scale of mine this streategy must first be develop and adapt to find the best solution for each of site .

Makkasan Green Public Park The abandoned site that use to be an old warehouse for operate and manage train transportation controled by State Railway of Thailand (SRT). This site is the last big greenspace about 700 rai in Bangkok , which plan to deverlop this place to become a huge commercial togather with a green open space. The concept for this project is the 4 integeation purposes are HISTORY , ECOLOGY , ACADEMY and ACTIVITY which designed in parallel to become a green public space & commercial in a heart of the city.

The old building & infrastructure was taken consider into the design to make unique character for Makkasan site , which this method is the fascination of brownfield site. Areas and passageways are designed to be connected and easily accessible from every direction, which is to attract user to come to Makkasan park. The great lawn , which conducive to various events , is an area accomodate many people and also used as detention areas and air purifier for the city in commercial district that has a high density and pollution.

Phanittaram Temple Renovation Because of surrounding of the temple is abandoned shrimp farm and rice field , to renovate space must take into consideration about surrounding context and way of life of local community. Temple is the Community Center, so the design will need to think about multi-functions of space both during the festival and non-festival. From a summary analysis , they are 6 issues that should be used in the design are THE INCREASE OF POPULATION , ACID-SALINE SOIL , PRESERVATION OF EX-BUILDING , SEQUENCE OF SPACE , RUN OFF - LOW LAND and TIDE - TEMPERATURE .


Concrete pavement around the temple was cracked and recycle become a gabion wall that protect embankment , reduce landslide and decrease the temperature that rise from many of hardscape. Rice field was use to provide the festivals area during out of farming season , make advantage of the rice field area full performance. About the sequence of space , the temple design to have an axis lead the eye from the rice into the temple through a sequence of different characteristics spaces created a variety of perception.

Dong Kee Lek - Sustainable Community Dong Kee Lek district have an important river that originates from mountains in the North of the area. The Geography is a plains switch valley which community areas are located along the canal. The villagers made a career in agriculture , so they have been blocking a water with a dam to collect the water use for an argiculture resulting is a problem with shortages in the dry season. Therefore, the design must focuses on water system and management to provide the villages using limited resources appropriately , so that the community will become sustainable by themselves.


Changing the agriculture system , which lack of connectivity of the water system , came back living with itself. By picking up a swale receives stormwater that run off from street to the water storage pond in the village. Promote fish farm in the pond to maintain ecosystem and increase the income of farmers. Modify and changes the planting pattern to collect a water and transport to storage pond , on the other hand the arid area have to modify the agriculture systeml and adapt to crop seasonal vegetables in the village , raise their product to become sustainable community .

Thailand Satellite station for space Exporation and Territory conquest The purpose of Thailand Satellite Station for Space Exploration and Territorial Conquest (TSET) is to explore the future possibilities of living in outer space, therefore in the next generation of humankind the earth might not be able to provide enough resource for living. Also to improves Thailand’s potential of energy, transportation, space knowledges and educations . As a cape , the site area is located between sea surface and has low dense of population. The site topographic happen to between Talay noi and Gulf of Thailand creating set back from the urban area . Energy source are avaliable nearby .


The hierarchy of zoning begin at the space shuttle luanch base in which need 5 km. set back as the envirnmental impact occurs during space shuttle luanching and the residential are there. The concept of circuration planning is based on linear routes with hierarchy of function and programs , 2 roops are situates in the area of headquarter and residential area in oder to make flow of circulation.

Industrial Estates and Forest Area In East of Thailand In the present , forest resources in the Eastern area of Thailand remaining 21%. Forests in the East , today was break down a lot because of the expansion of the industry in all categories. People from all over the Eastern influx of settlers from the coastal plains , that is the convenient transportation route as the country’s industrial development zone. The province also has a forest remains most is Prachinburi but it is likely that resources will be reduced gradually due to the impact on the expansion of the city and the increasing of population resulted use of resources cannot be controled.


The Color Line : Siam square Renovation Siam square is a commercial district with many users come in each day , as well as expatriates and tourists because it is a large shopping centre in Bangkok. The concept of SKD is to provide direction for travelers introduction to the various points of Siam square , by using each color line order to take into SHOPPING , PARK or FOOD distric. The color line design to tranfrom into furniture such as bench , bill board or planter according to the usage of each area.
