Though the Chamber was established in 1941, we’ve been at work since the early twentieth century, advocating for the community and quality of life through investment in business. We invite our members to take their place in history with us as we celebrate our milestones and build our future Paradise.
Chamber Media and Communications
As the voice of the Ridge, PRCoC has long shared the story of Paradise and Magalia through print and online media providing voice and visibility to our member businesses, organizations, and community partners. Chamber publications deliver the most complete Ridge business listings available.
Through its weekly member eblasts, PRCoC shares crucial information with members about funding opportunities, updated regulations, and continuing education. “Ridge Business Bulletins” are sent to the entire mailing list of 4,000, advertising member products and services to the community. The Chamber’s online community calendar is the go-to for events information for both the public and the media and received 96,744 page views in the past year. ParadiseChamber.com’s business directory receives more than 11,000 hits per month.
The Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Paradise Rotary Foundation to create an online marketplace. ShopParadiseRidge.com connects consumers and local businesses efficiently through a neighborhood ‘marketplace’— an online one-stopshop where small businesses can upload and promote their products, services, or takeout/delivery offerings. Chamber staff and Board members achieve BCTA certification
The Butte County Tourism Ambassadors (BCTA) program serves to increase tourism by inspiring frontline employees and volunteers to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience. When visitors have a positive experience, they are more likely to return in the future and also share their experience with others. Chamber’s Business Walks are back
Pre-pandemic, the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce and community partners routinely visited local businesses to better understand current successes and needs. The PRCoC has resumed this service in collaboration with the Town of Paradise. On May 11, teams visited fourteen Paradise businesses. Overall, businesses expressed optimism about the coming summer season, the waning effects of the pandemic, and the possibilities and progress in Paradise.
