2020 has been a very busy year for Magalia Beautification Association (MBA). Volunteer gardeners have been hard at work attending to gardens along the Skyway, and setting up flags on our nation’s holidays. Prior to school closing, the Ridgeview High School Rangers spent busy afternoons helping the MBA. They cleaned up the Baptist Church garden, the Old Magalia Church sign corner and the Post Office. Lead by their instructor Jeff Wrobel, the Rangers brought energy and muscle to beautify the Ridge. Because of the virus, MBA lost the Rangers’ help, but the volunteers continued on with the workdays themselves. Check out their other cleanup projects at the corner of Skyway and Lakeridge Circle, the front of the burned out hardware store and the rear of the Post Office. Once again this year we will be planting over 1,000 daffodil bulbs to add to the thousands already planted. Take a trip up to Magalia in the Spring and Ridgeview High School Rangers spent busy afternoons helping MBA clean up gardens in Magalia.
