The latest issue of the quarterly Urdu journal “Maghrib aur Islam” has been published under the title of “Alamgeeriat ka Challenge aur Musalman (Part I)”. While the journal is committed to bridge the perceived gaps between Islam and the West by means of bringing in perspectives of the two on the same subjects, this special issue contains the scholarly essays, written by the intellectuals from different parts of the world. The first three essays focus on the mainstream issue of globalization, its aims and purposes; whereas the rest of them deal with its implications on the Muslim world.
It is intended to bring out another issue of “Maghrib aur Islam” on the same topic very soon.
