On the 25th August 2013, a brand new Aviation Museum was opened at the Evans Head Memorial Where thousands of magnificent men and women called home while Aerodrome featuring military and civilian aircraft and artefacts collected from across Australia. completing initial bombing and gunnery training during World War II. Get up close to real, WWII link trailer military and civilian heritage aircraft:

Canberra Bomber, Korean War MIG15, WWII Grumman Avenger

Take the driver’s seat of the F-111 fi ghter bomber or Westpac Rescue Helicopter

Take a personalised tour with passionate volunteers who remember the stories, the history, the tragedies and the triumphs of Northern Rivers aviation

Explore the museum, complete with interpretive signage, tour desk and free parking. Pick up a souvenir of your visit in the museum gift shop or arrange a personalised photo session.
