The Local New Brighton Farmers’ Market opens every Tuesday morning from 8am to 11am bringing farm fresh produce to local residents and visitors. It’s relaxed, fun, and all about quality of life with local musicians gently wooing the audience, enjoying the atmosphere at a slower pace, the local produce mainly organically farmed, needing only to be transported a short distance thus reducing transport costs and the carbon footprint.

Swim in the river or walk on the beach. New Brighton Beach is an amazing vast beach which spreads to the Brunswick Heads North Wall, giving you the opportunity to be the only person to swim in the river or walk on the beach. The dunes are shaded with Casuarina trees and can provide an escape to unwind, chill out.
Eat
Enjoy a meal at Ocean Shores Tavern - “Where the locals go for beers, burgers, friends and frivolity. Alternatively head to Yum Yum Tree Cafe in New Brighton boasting modern Australian cuisine and is vegetarian Friendly and has vegan and gluten-free options with great views over the creek.

The Ocean Village Shopping Centre is a central meeting place and caters for all visitor needs. A Coles Supermarket, Bakery and widely renowned award winning local Butcher. Real Estate agents are available for your holiday rental needs, along with a medical centre, solicitor, café and a gift shop. Just across the car park is the newly renovated Ocean Shores Tavern boasting a kids play area, live music, raffles & trivia nights.

Play golf at the Country Club with ocean and hinterland views. Thai restaurant, entertainment and live sports, function rooms, swimming pool and courtesy buses. They cater for events also!
