Exploring in 3 different directions and combining them in the end to form a concept which is inspired from three different elements from nature.
experience
PEBBLE
Bring home the river bank experience...
Details Rotate the lid to extract water.
DETAILS
Feels like a pebble On placing one’s hand on the depression provided, the surface feels like the texture of a pebble on a river bank.
Details The inner tank is made of copper which also rotates along with the lid
WORKING
Effect on human body When water is stored in a copper vessel, the copper gently leeches into the water and lends it all its positive properties.
Details
WORKING
Experience the sound of a waterfall When the tank is rotated, water flows over the ridges making sound of a waterfall.
Details
Watch it flow like a brook When the water comes out of the tank, it flows through a transparent channel making it feel like a stream flowing through rocks.
Experience it yourself
SCENARIO
Physical Interaction
Audible Interaction
Visual Interaction
Satisfaction
When you touch the purifier, you can relate its texture to that of a pebble...
When you rotate the tank, the sound produced by it reminds you of a waterfall...
When you see the water flowing, it feels like fresh water is pouring directly into your glass...
At the end you imagine yourself drinking pure water straight from the river.
What I learnt from this project? • •
Story telling. How to incorporate essence of the inspiration into the design.
03 Dart 2.O Give an old game a 21st century makeover, with a fresh twist for today’s young adults.
INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

Analysis
Who is going to play the game? Co-ordination
Simplicity
Aim
Precision
Speed
Reflex
The player is anyone above the age of 5
Body co-ordination
Alert
Precision
Importance of physical games Games play a great role in our lives as it keeps us active. We can have a healthy mind only when we have a healthy body.
Directions to work ahead
Audible Interaction
Luck + Precision
Active + Inactive
Adding music to a game would be a different way to interact with people.
Adding luck to a precision game would make it more unpredictable and interesting.
Combining an active game with a lazy/inactive game can break the monotony and keep the player mentally fresh!
MOCKUP Made a quick cardboard mockup to validate proportions and to test the game play of the concept with an actual user.
CONCEPT INTRO
DART 2.O The next generation of party games
Components
DETAILS
Details of the concept
How it works? The radius of the patch on the screen depends on the force applied to throw the dart.
DETAILS
Game 1 : Wipe out
DETAILS
In this game team red has to create red patches on the screen and team white has to erase them. At the end of the match if red colour is visible on the screen, team red wins
Game 2 : Blackhole
SCENARIO + RULES
In this game the player has to be away from the black hole and play the game. As the black hole keeps increasing, playing area keeps decreasing and the game becomes more interesting.
Game 3 : Spin shoot
INTEGRATION
In this game the players have to judge the movement of the fan and then hit the dart accurately, so that the dart doesn’t hit the fan and their chance is not wasted.
What I learnt from this project? • •
