Air Management System for the Air Conditioning and Air Exchangers

There will be an Air Exchanger installed with ductwork in the attic to support the circulation of air for the HRV and Optional AC.

The Combination Boiler - How does it work?

A combination boiler, also referred to as a “Combi Boiler” or “Combi Unit,” offers domestic hot water and space heating in one package. Not only saving space but, in a lot of cases, money. During the heating season the Combi Unit runs only as needed to heat the home and provide hot water for showers, sinks, and other hot water appliances.

Radiant in Floor Heating - How does it work?

The heat for Radiant in Floor Heating is supplied by the Combination Boiler. The plumbing tubes are installed in the concrete slab and connected to the Combi Unit. Heated water travels through the tubes heating the concrete floor. Thus, heat is evenly distributed throughout the entire home and cold spots are eliminated. Radiant in Floor Heating is one of the most efficient, comfortable and quiet sources of heat.

Porches and Patios

The concrete patios will be built in the same fashion as the front porches. This requires that a footing/wall foundation system be installed.

Utility Room Dimensions

The access portal to the previously offered crawl space will become the utility room, which will house the Tankless Hot Water System and HRV.
