QUIET: A Review BY: AMY MORGAN, DOUGLAS COUNTY LIBRARIES
What do Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, Warren Buffett, and Steve Wozniak have in common? They are all introverts who achieved great things in their lives. In Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking, Susan Cain explains the value of being an introvert in an extroverted world.

But, why should we care if someone is introverted or extroverted? Cain answers this and more by providing detailed definitions of each type as well as sharing entertaining stories and examples about well-known places and people from Harvard Business School to Mahatma Gandhi.
Backed up with solid research and science, this is a good resource to not only get the most out of both introverts and extroverts but also recognize that employees have different styles which should be nurtured. She shows the value of both types. A fine example of an introvert and extrovert working together are Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. If you want to learn more about the book or Susan Cain, check out http:// www.thepowerofintroverts.com/. Of course, if you want a copy of the book, go to the library. We have it in print, audio, and electronic formats. – provided by Amy Morgan at Douglas County Libraries.
