Hayman Reese NZ spokesperson Darryl Maslin is planning to give customers who are pleased with their Hayman Reese gear a way to share their satisfaction.

The towbar and accessory manufacturer, which developed a range of products geared to tough Australian market conditions, now available in New Zealand, wants to see customers’ photos of their products in action, and the more action the better.

Hayman Reese’s X-bar is designed to complement the rugged looks of modern 4x4s, and the red recovery points are a standout for serious 4WD enthusiasts. With three dedicated recovery points built in and rated up to 8000kg, the X-Bar provides more options for awkward recoveries. The forged ball mount, the increased thickness of the heavy-duty side plates, and the forged rated recovery points are engineered specifically for the demands of both towing and recovery. It is the only 8000kg-rated recovery tow bar on the market.

The brand is currently running a promotion for New Zealand users of any Hayman Reese product seeking photos that it will share on social media.

Darryl says Hayman Reese NZ’s marketing strategy is now being directed to grow its online presence, building on the lessons learned by necessity during lockdown.

He says engagement with customers through Facebook was greater than expected so that pointed the way forward. “We hadn’t given it too much effort but our posts have proven to be popular. It’s also been a great way for end users to contact us should they have a product or application query.

“That suggests it will in turn grow business through our retail and installer network that we set up during lockdown in 2020.”

Darryl says that supporting its Facebook presence, its Instagram profile is “almost ready to roll”. “But I’m not sure our brand has the right fit for TikTok,” he says.

“We have also rolled this out to our installer network. We’d love to see our hard working installers submitting photos of their installs and happy customers.”

Darryl says Hayman Reese is also planning interactive content that will come out over the next 12 months. For more information contact Hayman Reese directly on 0800 MY T BAR (0800 698 227) or email info@haymanreese.co.nz.
