New four-post lifts from Century
CENTURY DISTRIBUTORS, WHICH REPRESENTS HESHBON LIFTS IN NEW ZEALAND, IS NOW LAUNCHING ITS OWN RANGE OF CENTURY BRAND FOUR-POST LIFTS

Century Distributors has had its own range of Century-branded two-post lifts, tyre changers, and wheel balancers in the market for more than 15 years. Seeing a growing need for a higher standard in four-post lift options, the company has developed the Century 4PK. The new lift is made by the same manufacturer as the CEN-4000B and CEN-2PKS two-post, clear floor lifts, meaning the CEN-4PK models offer the same quality, reliability, and value for money.
Century Distributors was founded by John Jenkins and began importing vehicle workshop equipment in 1999. A reputation was built with the Heshbon brand, and 23 years later the business is still family run.
The first model in the new four-post lineup is the 4PKS, a low-cost 4000kg flat platform maintenance lift. It has simplified controls for lower servicing costs.
Next up is the 4PK-5000, a heavy-duty flat platform lift with Korean power-pack and a load rating of 5000kg, between 50-1000kg above the normal load for lifts in this category. It also has a remote control to control the main platform and jacking beams.
The flagship model is the 4PKA-5000, a premium wheel alignment lift with locking rear slip plates, and turntable recesses at the front. It includes blanking plates for the front turntables, allowing them to be removed so the lift can be used as a platform lift when needed. It also uses a Korean-made powerpack and electric remote control.
All Century four-post lift models include a centre rolling jacking beam. Fittings for an optional second jack are already in place.
As John Jenkins says, there’s no question about the new lifts’ long term dependability and support as they come from the same factory that built the first Century two-post lifts 16 years ago, which are still in use to this day.
Parts are stocked on the shelf and servicing is scheduled, meaning any repairs would come with minimal downtime. Common features include four-post corner locks, adjustable for levelling, galvanised lifting cables with safety brakes in case of emergency, 2,734mm between posts, and the lifts are assembled with top-quality imported parts. Prices include delivery and installation with some terms and conditions applying. In stock in dark gray, other colours are available on order.
Finance and leasing options are also available for all budgets. Century Distributors is a Capricorn preferred supplier.
