Rulantica sets a new standard In 2021, Europa-Park’s Rulantica opened an instantly iconic ProSlide RideHOUSE® aimed squarely at the park’s family guests. As one of the most talked about and anticipated expansions of the year, the new aquatic play structure was completely customized to depict an awe-inspiring aquatic battle between the sea serpent Svalgur and a giant octopus – actually an expertly themed ProSlide Continuous BodyBOWL. In addition to massive tentacles that encircle the structure, an astounding 10 tracks of high-performance ProSlide water rides – with a competitive two-lane ProRACER®, three TWISTERS and four KIDZ TWISTERS – fill out the spectacular ride mix. Intricate theming details like hand-painted water slides, a tipping bucket appearing to be constructed from fish bones and hand-carved Viking shields cement that the RideHOUSE®’s fantasy experience is fully realized.

All of this combined to help ProSlide and Rulantica capture the world’s first Blooloop Innovation Award in the ‘Splash’ category for their work on this incredible attraction.
