Eco Resort Network 2022 Review
FIRST EVENT INSPIRES
The Eco Resort Network in-person event in Slovenia at the start of June proved to be hugely enjoyable and informative.
Around 46 delegates gathered in Bled to discuss sustainable resort operation, investment, effective marketing, clever site construction, interior design and wellness trends – plus much more.

The group was also treated to a tour of the award-winning Garden Village Bled plus dinner in their restaurant complete with grass-topped tables, as well as a welcome reception and a raucous last night at a traditional Slovenian restaurant-cum-gingerbread museum where they were regaled by a harmonica-playing host.
“Much fun was had and friendships were made. Delegates included those new to the industry and seasoned operators, suppliers and consultants who generously shared their knowledge and delighted in learning about new eco ventures joining the space,”’ says Steph Curtis- Raleigh, co-organiser.

“I was not sure what to expect, but I was really impressed with Slovenia, Bled and the convivial esprit de corps of the delegation. I cannot remember an event quite like this. Such a diverse and eclectic global group of entrepreneurs and driven but warm business people,” said Todd Wynne-Parry, Managing Director, Horwath HTL.

Industry newcomer Astrid Arlove said, “Thank you so much for this truly enriching event. I met some incredible people, integrated new perspectives and knowledge, discovered a beautiful country and had a lot of fun as well!!”
Plans are now afoot for next year’s event which is in the diary for June 7 and 8, 2023 in Croatia.
