Brendan’s passion for designing and engineering eco-dwellings is surpassed only by his love for travel. Raised in South Africa and with over 26 years of handson experience, Brendan has been deeply involved in creating several iconic and multiaward-winning luxury, tented lodges and architectural fabric structures in some of the world’s most remote wilderness locations.
With his extensive experience and an uncompromising passion for detail, Brendan has recently completed his Master of Engineering in Membrane Lightweight Structures at the University of Krems en Donau in Austria. Ultimately allowing him to take his vision for innovative environmental design and seamlessly integrate it with guest experiences that are deeply embedded in nature.
Through this vision, Brendan and the Tenthouse® Team help bridge the gap between extraordinary design concepts and their low-impact environmental execution, while still delivering on rigorous international quality standards and local building codes.
