This module will explore the talent and possibilities that already exist in the borough. Come together to identify spaces and opportunities where you can access knowledge, activities, equipment & materials locally. Spaces and tools can act as springboards to help projects flourish and the aim is to unlock access for residents to bring their ideas to life.

Accompanying this mapping exercise will be sessions designed to help residents forge meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships to build their networks, and ultimately the growth and success of their idea. Support networks and collaboration can be crucial in ensuring projects can grow.

Understand more about setting up operational processes like risk assessments and policies, and how to get started.

Turning an idea into something tangible requires certain steps to be taken.

These steps will look slightly different for each participant but there are common themes that can be covered together. From looking at different business models and action plans to working on creating our own, participants will create a list of key elements within their idea that they can communicate and build on.

Participants will also explore working styles to efficiently concentrate their time and energies with a focus on evaluation tools to ensure you are staying on track and creating something that aligns with your original goals.
