Carpet Weaving Workshop Multi-use Complex
The idea of this project started with a question: how can we bring value to the informal settlements and lower-income parts of the city of Tabriz, Iran? As an answer to address this problem, it was decided to find a way to bring value to this district and break the boundary between them and other parts of the city. After some research about this area, it was known that these people›s most common job is carpet weaving. It was proposed to design a carpet weaving workshop for this district, so people can work in a standard condition; thus they can exhibit in their neighborhood, which will be an attraction for people from other parts of the city to come and visit.

We had a land with a slope of 9% where we wanted to accommodate three uses: workshop, exhibition and residential. It was decided to put the two uses of the exhibition and the workshop, which are mostly public, in one complex, and separate the residential use, which is mostly residential.

Harmony Park Residential Complex Residential Apartment units
Today, in our busy and urban lives, the need for a calm and comfortable home is felt more than ever. After spending hours at work and behind the city traffic, we all need to relax at home. Therefore, the home environment and the quality of its spaces have a great impact on our lives. Among the essential factors that affect the quality of indoor spaces are light and outside visibility. In this complex, it has been tried that all units have light, sight and eye-catching scenery. In addition to the quality of the interior space, the impact that this residential complex had on the beauty and visual appearance of the city was a concern for us in designing this project. This complex was necessary to give visual beauty to the city and all the blocks to be in harmony, which is why we named this complex «Harmony» residential complex.
Massing Diagram
In this project, two longitudinal sites were given, which was the residential building design plan. Since the shape of both sites was too long and too low in width, it was decided that the blocks should follow the shape of the site.
The blocks were placed in the middle of the site to be more connected with their landscape. It was also decided that instead of solid blocks, these blocks should be broken into three parts to create a better view for the units and the green space can better fit in the blocks.

All around the blocks are the independent balconies of each unit, which give a pleasant view to the houses and make all the units enjoy good lighting. This block also has two elevators to carry people and cargo. This block also has two emergency stairs, the width of which is calculated based on fire standards in the country. In this block, two one-bedroom units, one three-bedroom unit and one four-bedroom unit have been designed, in which two one-bedroom units can be merged if needed and become a two-bedroom unit in each of the blocks and floors.

Odyssey
A Voyage Through Time In the outskirts of Spain, where history whispers through weathered stones and ancient corridors, a silent symphony of the past, present, and future unfolds. Our architectural odyssey seeks to breathe new life into the venerable old monastery, weaving a tapestry of narratives that transcend time and echo the rich cultural tapestry of the land. This design, borne from a collaboration of creativity and reverence, is a testament to the resilience of history and the promise of the future. At the core of our vision are two dynamic forms, reaching out like tendrils into the continuum of time. The first form beckons visitors on a journey through the past – a meticulous exploration of the monastery’s historical legacy. As they traverse this pathway, they are enveloped in the whis-pers of bygone eras – the cathedral, the architecture adapting seamlessly to showcase the evolution of the sacred space. As the visitor journeys through the present, in stark contrast, the second form propels visitors into the embrace of the future. A forward-looking manifestation, it celebrates the endless possibilities that lie ahead. This avantgarde extension stands as a beacon of progress while paying homage to the enduring spirit of the monastery.

The Chapel Exhibition & Performance Hall The architectural design centered on integrating a deep understanding of restoration into its ethos, conceptualizing time as a continuum with past, present, and future dimensions. The challenge was to merge the ruins, symbolizing the past, with the present and future. This was achieved by adding two non-linear glass extensions around the ruins, representing the present and future, and connecting them with an oval enclosure that provided an elevated panoramic view for visitors. Below this enclosure, seating areas offered comfort during varying weather conditions. Visitors would first encounter a modern glass structure at ground level serving as an entrance hall, leading them to the historical ruins, which housed spaces like a repurposed chapel for exhibitions and workshops. A contemporary glass structure within the ruins functioned as a workshop and communal hub, complemented by a café that harmoniously combined rustic and modern architectural elements.

Position Plan Scale 1:2500
Dessau Hub
A Co-Working Space in Dessau Germany For the BIM course project, the selected area in Dessau, Germany, was the canvas for a revitalizing design proposal—a co-working space tailored to address contemporary urban challenges. Recognizing the escalating rental costs in major cities like Berlin, which pose significant barriers for small businesses and entrepreneurs, the design focuses on leveraging Dessau›s lower rental market. This strategic approach aims to attract businesses seeking affordable alternatives without compromising on connectivity and amenities. The proposed co-working space serves a dual purpose: it provides an accessible workspace for the growing number of design and architecture students from the University of Hochschule Anhalt in Dessau, fostering collaboration and idea exchange among young talents. Concurrently, it aligns with the city planners› objectives to rejuvenate Dessau by creating hubs that catalyze economic activity and community engagement. By integrating modern co-working facilities within the urban fabric, the design not only offers practical solutions for workspace needs but also positions Dessau as an attractive destination for young professionals, thereby contributing to the city›s revitalization efforts and potential renaissance.

Story of Berlin
Transformation of a Bunker in Berlin into an interactional Museum
Located on Uhland Straße in Berlin, the historic bunker stands as a testament to the city›s past, now set to be reborn as an immersive history museum. The challenge lies in preserving the integrity of the thick-walled structure while infusing it with a modern, interactive experience. The design approach is meticulously curated to minimize intervention, respecting the bunker›s original architecture, and maximizing the potential for interactive exhibits. The museum›s narrative unfolds across five distinct zones, each encapsulating a pivotal era in Berlin›s rich history since its rise as the capital in the 1700s. The zones—Re-birth, Growth, Pressure, Separation, and Gummy bear—chronicle Berlin›s transformation through significant events and cultural shifts. Each zone is designed to evoke the essence and mood of its respective era, offering visitors a dynamic journey through time. The interactive elements within these zones engage visitors through immersive exhibits, multimedia presentations, and innovative storytelling techniques, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Berlin›s multifaceted history. By seamlessly blending historical preservation with interactive design, the transformed bunker museum serves as a compelling tribute to Berlin›s past, present, and future.

01 Stoy Wall Zone 1: Re-Birth The Story wall is located in the beginning of the museum and it is screen inside the wall which is displaying whole museums hisotoy in a short time.
02 Axial Openning Walls Zone 1: Re-Birth These walls are thick walls that their doors open axialy. The objects can be put inside them to be exhibited. The doors are Interactive, and visitors should enter some codes or solve some mystery to open them.
03 Tiny Gates Wall Zone 1: Re-Birth Tiny gates wall is a solid wall with some small gates. Visitors should open the small gates to see pictures, information or objects.
04 Re-Birthing Cubes Zone 1: Re-Birth Re birthing cube is a solid cube at the first step, but it has sensors that when visitors touch them it will start to open and from the inside a special object (or a cylinder which is growing from bottom) can be displayed. The inner side of cube are screens.
05 White Path Zone 2: Growth The white path, is a lighting path on the ground which starts from beginning of this zone and lead visitors. Also inside the white path there are two circles. On these circles growing map of Berlin starts to be illuminated when visitors start to put their feet on them.
06 Two Sided Round Screen Zone 2: Growth Two sided screen is a round screen hanged from ceiling . Pictures and information can be displayed on the both side.
07 Panoramic Screen Rooms Zone 2: Growth Three panoramic screen rooms are in the growth zone, and the walls are panoramic screens. Stories, pictures,... can be displayed. Also because the rooms are semi close areas, the sound will not go outside.
08 Growing White Shape Zone 2: Growth A white curve shape is inside the white system of grids. In some parts,it is screen or in some parts can be seat. Also inside the grids objects can be put, and the grids have this flexiblity to be empty based on the objects size.
09 Gradient Tunnel Between Zone 2&3 The gradient tuneel is between Growth and Pressure zone. As a symbole for passing from a good era to a depression era.
10 Pressure Walls Zone 3: Pressure In this zone solid concrete wall with sharp corners are located. In some parts walls are slanted and people will go through them with difficulties, as a symbol of pressure and depression in that era.
11 Gummy Bear Walls Zone 5: Gummy Bears In this zone the walls will be covered with a soft material like foam and fabrics, in order to have dynamic shapes and colors ( like today Berlin).
12 Berlin mini-Clubes Zone 5: Gummy Bears Three (neon) cubes shape space will be in this zone, in which people can go and play techno music and dance like nowadays berlin clubs. Also the cubs are semitransparent whichcan be more attractive for the people to go inside the cubs.
