Mighty Mudroom with Pet Spa

For busy families juggling kids, gear, and pets, this is the true ‘entrance’ of the house. We unload and unwind at our backdoors far more than we do at our front ones. This room’s location, off the garage and next to the kitchen, is ideal for a mudroom. And a laundry. And a pet bath. We thought to combine all three. A wider, double door entry gives more immediate access to a pet-cleaning, clutter-containing, high-functioning destination with French Provincial character. This re-imagined space features two-tone cabinetry, quartz counters, an apron front, concrete sink, a mudroom bench, a full-sized washer/dryer, a steam closet and, of course, a pet bath station.
