I am a storyteller; the viewer is provided with images to create a personal narrative. Symbols tap into the subconscious mind. Like a dream, the various elements may not make sense logically, but they create their own reality for the viewer to decipher.

In “Dreaming the Oak Grove,” a number of traditional and self-generated symbols are presented. References to traditional symbols are the eight-spoke Wheel of Dharma, the T-O map of Medieval Europe, and scattered five-point star shapes. All symbols guide the quest for the perfect universe. Each viewer will follow a different path and find a different destination. The importance is that each interaction is personal and contributes to the life of the work of art.
