Creating Visual Tension

I took this image in South Austin on a Saturday morning. I was experimenting with tension creation. I did not see the auto coming through the scene until after I had taken the picture. I think capturing the auto added to the overall dynamic. I created tension in the image by placing two subjects on both sides of the image and by having the left side of the image, where most people’s eyes go rst, have less focus and clarity. I think this causes the eye to move back and forth, trying to nd a place to come to rest. What do you think? Leave a comment
