VISION, MISSION, VALUES, & STRATEGY INTRODUCTION: The ongoing fruitfulness of our church is made possible by a clear vision statement, a clear and simple mission statement, understandable values, and a well applied strategy. Our team is a multileveled team that has influence and shaping power on these four key areas of our church. The eldership oversees all aspects of the church and has final say on the church we see to build, as well as the legal structures and the constitution. The application of our vision, mission, values, and strategy is designed by the Executive Leadership Team and fulfilled by all the leaders and the congregation.

A. LIVE.LOVE. MEANING
1. Live.Love means that in every-‐day situations, you make a purposeful decision to live like Jesus and share His love with grace, love, and actions that engage life’s hurts.
2. Eph. 5:2, Message Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of Himself to us. Love like that. B. LIVE.LOVE FOURFOLD MANDATE:

THE A2 CHURCH is a Christ-‐centered, Spirit-‐filled church saturated with prayer that values fivefold ministry, biblical eldership, presence-‐filled worship, reaching and discipling the unchurched, serving our communities, and consisting of multicultural and multigenerational people while providing strategic and relevant applications to impact the cultures of the world. B. THE THRIVING CHURCH WE SEE is both the product of God’s purpose and the means for achieving God’s purpose. We love the church and live to build a thriving church. IV. OUR CORE VALUES – WHO WE ARE
A. CORE VALUES ARE THE FOUNDATIONS that have shaping power to make us who we are. Those values represent our basic beliefs and our convictions. This is who we are from the foundation to the roof. This is what we stand for. Values determine ministry distinctives. 1. Core values are biblical, engender passion, are easily shared, constant, flow with overall vision, and are implementable. 2. VI. SIMPLIFYING OUR IMPLEMENTATION
A. THE FOCUS WE AS LEADERS MUST BE CRYSTAL CLEAR ABOUT is our concentration on the simple design that facilitates the process of spiritual transformation in people. 1. Our focus is to simply make disciples. A plagiarized biblical vision is always a good thing! Matt. 28:19; Eph. 4:13 2. Our focus is to keep it simple and remove unnecessary things that take our focus away from the biblical mandate. This translates into fewer events, fewer items on the calendar, and more energy into the four targets: grow, commit, connect, and serve. 3. Our focus is to position people to grow in Christ; but let this be their decision and let them make choices. We as leaders partner with God to move people through stages of spiritual growth that are administratively simple and not driven by staff and programs, although staff and certain programs are necessary for certain aspects of the growth process. B. SIMPLIFY OUR LEADERSHIP FOCUS 1. Focus on the four targets within everything we do in every ministry we have: grow, commit, connect, serve, live like Jesus, share His love, and build a thriving church. Phil. 1:9-‐10 2. Focus means we all align to the clear vision and mission with staff, volunteers, resources, schedules, energies, passions, and our words.
